Interest rate has gone up on our @AskNationwide mortgage, so of course our monthly payment has gone *down* £74 per month. Interest rates should go UP more often please! I think their software has a bug…

@RevdCharles @AskNationwide Good guess. No, I know what it is, and they do it every few years so that our end date doesn’t come early. Profits before principles. Or “computer error” as they call it!

@AskNationwide Funnily enough, via DM you have advised that I try your webchat service which now tells me that it can’t help and I should call the mortgage team. Don’t you think we’ve tried that?! They’re the ones we’re complaining about! Absolutely appalling customer service with no care

My daughter gave me her @AskNationwide Help to Buy ISA passbook to get updated & pay in some cash. They let me update the book but said I couldn’t pay the cash in! My daughter wanted the cash to count in July as there are monthly limits-she can’t get there herself today. Poor!

@AskNationwide so why did my insurance premium drop by 30% this year? Did the law change and force you to give me the same deal as a new customer? So you’ve been massively overcharging me for years, legal yes, ethical, no. Treating customers fairly, no!!

@AskNationwide Appalling service causing extreme stress! Can you explain why a mortgage application made at the beginning of June still has not been processed and no consistent or accurate information given? Purchase was meant to complete on Monday. FCA complaint imminent.

Can you @AskNationwide CEO Debbie Crosby why your customer care is so absolutely awful? No response, poor service, letters from bots - no point having account benefits if they’re poor quality with zero support from Nationwide when it goes wrong. NBS7658000 refers Many thanks.

@AskNationwide Thanks for trying but its too late. Your response is appreciated though. All my accounts were closed because I tried to help a lady politely from exposing herself at work. Her indecent exposure was intentional and her manager seemed to like it. Kilburn branch

@AskNationwide He’ll know approximately, but NW looked at the wrong one. I think it’s down to NW to investigate until they find the offending one. Can you work on a date range of say a week? He was regularly withdrawing cash. He will have drawn up to £7,000 and the erroneous sum was £70!

@AskNationwide Thank you. I think this must be a common issue for backpackers. The system is very clunky. The assumption for a long standing client should be that they are trusted when the sum is relatively small and represents a very low % of the total transactions.

@AskNationwide @bealzebum After that you will deal with rubbish service and poor systems .. but don't worry your money is safe .. because at least the government is protecting that
