And today’s award for shocking customer service goes to @AskNationwide sending us round in circles and getting nowhere… I pity the person I see in branch later

@AskNationwide It just stops working - no error message - I hit the continue button nothing loads - tried several devices and nothing
-
John Beale (@TheJohnb143) reported
@AskNationwide Why should I have to have multiple devices? I have been a customer for over 20 years and the service just gets worse every year. Perhaps if Nationwide invested in "modern" tech, not cobbled together stuff, tyhe tech might work. Stop blaming your customers

@AskNationwide Thanks Diane. It’s setting up the app on my new phone. Using card reader, go though all that and an error message appears. Seems to have worked now though. Thanks for a fast response!

@AskNationwide how do I notify about problems after outage on 3 dates in Dec/Jan resulting in late payments?
-
Chris Thornett ✍️ 💻 (@ChriThor) reported
Surprised I haven't heard from you, @AskNationwide, about a £60 apology payment. I was left with £300 stuck in transfer limbo on 21st Dec unable to use my salary in your account and without the money I expected in my daily checking account while you fixed your problems.

Disco⎊🏳️🌈 (@Disco__Tv) reported
@AskNationwide I was affected twice by your systems going down and missed bill payments because of the money I needed to pay them not going into my account and had to pay late fees I couldn't afford ontop of them for being late. Why am I not included in the £60 compensation?

Been with @AskNationwide for nearly 30 years and yet haven’t been compensated for not being able to access my own money. Time to move banks I wonder? They are taking the pee now compensating only some customers. How is that fair Nationwide? We were ALL affected.
