@AskNationwide I'm having frequent problems with Google pay and my registered flex account card which is declined every 6th transaction. Is this normal given we have to use this multiple times a day. For small amounts nowhere near the £100 limit

@AskNationwide The issue is the contactless phone payments not the card. I rarely carry cards now. Doesn't look like there is an answer to this at present other than always carrying card and phone. Makes Samsung and Google pay pointless as a result

@AskNationwide I've tried before. They just say no block on card..I appreciate security is important but often I end up using another providers card and just transfer the money

@BlondeHistorian @crit_gen @AskNationwide So upsetting to hear this. I’ve been told off for something similar and it’s embarrassing. Why can’t people just say “Oh, what can I help you with?” before getting tetchy. The guide dog might have been a clue! 😡

@AskNationwide Kia ora. So you're saying we don't need to send his documents but can log in to your online facility if we order a card reader? How is that going to work if we don't have a card? This is a child trust account not a transactional account

@BlondeHistorian @AskNationwide It’s so strange how people can be so oblivious. I once had to make a complaint because I had made an appointment to go into the bank and the staff member told me I had to use phone banking. I explained several times I was deaf but he just said he couldn’t help and walked off.

@AskNationwide Honestly Mel, the process of a special endorsement on the draft and a cursory check of my info and simply processing th draft could save hours of wasted time for your back office as well as branch staff. Sometimes the simple solution is the best process for company and customer.

@AskNationwide And will you do this personally Mel or will I be relegated to a ‘chat’ queue? All someone (who cares) needs to do is contact Worthing branch and speak to the assistant manager who has worked hard and is being let down by IT
