David Barclay (@44dbarc) reported from Kirkcaldy, Scotland

@AskNationwide I'm having frequent problems with Google pay and my registered flex account card which is declined every 6th transaction. Is this normal given we have to use this multiple times a day. For small amounts nowhere near the £100 limit

  • 44dbarc
David Barclay (@44dbarc) reported from Kirkcaldy, Scotland

@AskNationwide The issue is the contactless phone payments not the card. I rarely carry cards now. Doesn't look like there is an answer to this at present other than always carrying card and phone. Makes Samsung and Google pay pointless as a result

  • Beleza_Rach
Rachael Santangelo (@Beleza_Rach) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@AskNationwide I've tried before. They just say no block on card..I appreciate security is important but often I end up using another providers card and just transfer the money

@AskNationwide Come on now. So all these merchants are the problem but they accept my bank of Scotland debit card and santander one no problem. The problem is most definitely with yourselves

@AskNationwide @AskNationwide - You're continually saying incoming payments are delayed, in a queue and will arrive ASAP, additionally issue will be fixed ASAP. What is the actual frame for both incoming payments and fix? ASAP does not help, people need to know when they will receive funds.

@michaelsage82 @AskNationwide Both were down earlier apparently outgoing is up again but if it’s anything like last time they could take some time to show up

    Mickey Flynn (@TwitTwockBTC) reported

Not long ago @AskNationwide blocked payments to cryptocurrenny site @binance and informed me my money could be at risk. Fast forward to now and I refuse to withdraw my funds from Binance to nationwide as I think my money could be at risk. I withdrew to @RevolutApp instead #irony

@AskNationwide well that's 2 customers current and savings accounts plus a business account you've now lost! 3 payment issues in 10 days have destroyed my business cash flow and I'm now scrabbling around trying to borrow funds so I can buy materials!!! 🤬👎

  • CassNdu
CassieN - Solidarite avec la France (@CassNdu) reported

@AskNationwide So is this the same issue as you have had twice before in the last few days, or is a different issue? I think we should be told; it's our money we can't access. The problem is bad enough but your communication of the issue is absolutely dire. Waiting for an answer.......

    claire (@claire98032242) reported

@AskNationwide come on! It’s about time you got on top of this. Your tweets provide no explanation as to why we are repeatedly experiencing delays. Give your customers the information they deserve. 30+ years as a customer and I am ready to walk.

    Isla Greer (@GreerIsla) reported

@AskNationwide any idea when this problem is going to be fixed? I am sitting in the cold with my young son as I can’t access any money that has been transferred to my account to put any heating on! Yet again incompetence on your behalf!!

@AskNationwide Again? Really???? All fine and dandy saying I can still use this and that yet I can't do diddly squat until my ingoing is there to spend and make use of said working services. Far to frequent this, I've onmy just switched to you in the last 6 months too. Mistake??? Perhaps.

@AskNationwide This isn’t helpful when the cause of peoples money problems is your inability to process payments into their accounts repeatedly.
