Myself and a few others have this issue not just nationwide either that has a ongoing issue but all banks seem to say everything is working , guess everyone's bosses ain't paying if nationwide insists no issues🤦

@AskNationwide It is, because I can’t afford the deposit. However, I am paying over 800 quid a month in rent, and have been for a good few years, which surely demonstrates I can afford the repayments? Perhaps reevaluate your mortgage eligibility criteria to help the many people like ourselves?

@AskNationwide Please do so. I’ve now spent almost an hour trying to find out about a mortgage application where the last update from Nationwide was 19th May. Tried Broker Chat before phoning but that took me down a cul de sac. Now have another appointment so have got absolutely nowhere.

@AskNationwide I received my new card yesterday but it's not working. I've tried it at a cash point & a Chip & PIN machine (not contactless). Can you advise urgently please as I have already destroyed the card I had for this replacement? I can't pay for anything currently!

@AskNationwide @ashlilou88 I can confirm there's a banking issue @AskNationwide it's not the customers workplace here , has I am also facing same issue and also issues with Lloyds Bank for other customers with same issue myself and this woman is facing.
