The replies I've had are from people that can't do anything about it unfortunately but Nationwide service to customers stink to be honest. This has resulted in a non-thorough investigation by a very dismissive complaints handler, who has now closed the case. Shocking customer service.

I just find it really odd that in the 21st century we still have to go into a branch (which is closed today btw) usually at times we're working so inconvenient, and present the same ID we would present online? Either be fully online or don't say you are.

It's basically bomalia. @AskNationwide have their head office there, they're both importing indians to work in Swindon, and therefore help with Swindon's enshittification AND outsourcing call centre jobs to india.
