@RevdCharles @AskNationwide Good guess. No, I know what it is, and they do it every few years so that our end date doesn’t come early. Profits before principles. Or “computer error” as they call it!

Interest rate has gone up on our @AskNationwide mortgage, so of course our monthly payment has gone *down* £74 per month. Interest rates should go UP more often please! I think their software has a bug…

@AskNationwide All she wants to know is that her money is safe. I don't want you to talk to me only her! She cannot come in to branch as in a care home totally bed bound. You need to rethink how to help dementia sufferers and those supporting them. I can only advise mum to shut her account

@AskNationwide My mum doesn't understand she has lack of capacity so is trying to remain independent with my support. All I wanted was someone to call her and run through security and check her account hasn't been fraudulently used. When I rung NatWest with same issue they were amazing.

@AskNationwide I haven’t been able to access my online banking or banking app for two days now. I can’t access or organise my money, which I desperately need to do. I will not be any paying charges incurred during this time! #CostOfLivingCrisis

@AskNationwide She lacks capacity to make a call herself and the carers don't have the time to help her. I will be visiting her soon and we will make the call together to you to transfer her money from you and close her account. Dementia sufferers deserve better than this.
