Like a non-trivial number of other customers, my app store accounts (Apple and Google) were not opened in the UK. Unlike some other banks, you block download of your app by non-UK app store accounts. I was with them 30 years (Nana opened it) and when I went for a mortgage (already had one for 7 years). My DIP was rejected 'due to a technical error' I got a in person appointment for it to be rejected again due to the same error. 2X hard searches on my credit score. Got a better mortgage elsewhere in the end.
