Like a non-trivial number of other customers, my app store accounts (Apple and Google) were not opened in the UK. Unlike some other banks, you block download of your app by non-UK app store accounts. NatWest can usually fix everything online without having to call them. People don’t have time to call companies & wait on hold for ages anymore!

It's basically bomalia. @AskNationwide have their head office there, they're both importing indians to work in Swindon, and therefore help with Swindon's enshittification AND outsourcing call centre jobs to india.
