Like a non-trivial number of other customers, my app store accounts (Apple and Google) were not opened in the UK. Unlike some other banks, you block download of your app by non-UK app store accounts. Goes into your Goole branch - they can't help him and give him a number (seemingly a Head Office). Requires account details. Nice. How does he do that? Refer to the above.

It's basically bomalia. @AskNationwide have their head office there, they're both importing indians to work in Swindon, and therefore help with Swindon's enshittification AND outsourcing call centre jobs to india.
