Like a non-trivial number of other customers, my app store accounts (Apple and Google) were not opened in the UK. Unlike some other banks, you block download of your app by non-UK app store accounts. Firetrapdiva (@ItsOnlyStubbsy) reported@AskNationwide That'd be great if you didn't delete people's accounts from the app & tell them to go in branch if they want money, but they're housebound & calling up gets you passed from department to department with no actual solution. We'll be moving banks as soon as this issue is resolved

After spending hours arranging a contract with a Nationwide customer whom I met at his home had lenghty discussions and agreed a contract he signed and asked to proceed. NATIONWIDE text him, called him witheld Payment! Said it was a SCAM!
