Dear Nationwide Building Society - I am very concerned about your recent text message beginning "As you use the Internet Bank/Banking app." I'm concerned because I don't use the app. It's not even on my phone. Is someone else using the app to access my account? @AskNationwide 1/5

  • zcobb Stephen Cobb, #FBPE 🇺🇦 (@zcobb) reported from Coventry, England

Why is the Nationwide app not on my phone? Like a non-trivial number of other customers, my app store accounts (Apple and Google) were not opened in the UK. Unlike some other banks, you block download of your app by non-UK app store accounts. That's a pity. 2/5 @AskNationwide

@AskNationwide you having issues with the mobile banking app? Cannot seem to be able to log on

  • zcobb Stephen Cobb, #FBPE 🇺🇦 (@zcobb) reported from Coventry, England

May I suggest you: 1. Check the algorithms behind your messages so they don't worry people. 2. Check your texts are correct in what they say. 3. Let customers like me who have app store accounts that originated outside the UK get access to your app. Thanks you. @AskNationwide

@English___Quiz @Godfrey_Bloom @AskNationwide I havent researched recently, but my memory of Northern Rock was that they had over-extended with a lot of mortgage lending on very short-duration loans from other companies, and it was issues with renewing that funding that blew them up.

  • _rowanm1_ Rowan Morrison (@_rowanm1_) reported

@AskNationwide I am trying to transfer money to pay an invoice and it says there is a technical issue, I have tried with internet and data on my phone and my laptop and it keeps saying the same thing. Please help.

  • _lEL72 s:-)k (@_lEL72) reported

@AskNationwide @AskNationwide people need access to the money in their accs 24/7 without your bullshit card readers and apps. And so ******* pissed off with you treating me like I've not been banking with you for 20 ******* years having to prove who ******** I am

  • JakeForste10939 Jake Forster (@JakeForste10939) reported

@AskNationwide why do you make it extremely difficult for people to access money that they have worked hard for ? I’ve seen the video and experienced this nonsense myself

  • Keynesianism Ecky (@Keynesianism) reported

@Dudsey_ @AskNationwide @dudsey The problem is Duds there is no money and the size of the benefits bill is one of the main reasons why. YouTube and other social media is full of videos on how to game the system and apply successfully for things like PIP. The last thing taxpayers need is banks doing the same.

  • MillyEsse Milena Abrili ®️🇮🇹 (@MillyEsse) reported

@AskNationwide Good evening, I'm having a problem with my online banking account. I can log in but it won't let me proceed. It asks if I want to stay logged in. I say yes, but it still disconnects me. Please let me know. Thanks.

@HSBC_UK i just want you to know that i’m NOT happy as very loyal HSBC customer I’m strongly considering switching @AskNationwide

  • hbkeenan Helen Brady Keenan (@hbkeenan) reported

@AskNationwide 1/2 took additional credit card form into Sutton Coldfield. She kept me 15 minutes “checking it.” Now letter saying cannot verify signature of someone with branch over 10 years. I ring 03457 30 20 11 and spend a lifetime with agents who don’t “understand” the issue

  • Dudsey_ Duds (@Dudsey_) reported

@Keynesianism @AskNationwide @dudsey Admittedly, there’s probably more fraudulent claims than legitimate ones, but subsequent governments have run down the departments responsible for assessing and processing the claims correctly. But there are still millions upon millions which go unclaimed, how?
