    Why is the Nationwide app not on my phone? Like a non-trivial number of other customers, my app store accounts (Apple and Google) were not opened in the UK. Unlike some other banks, you block download of your app by non-UK app store accounts. That's a pity. 2/5 @AskNationwide

    @AskNationwide Why is it not updated on Twitter? You say the feed is for Nationwide news, why is this not regarded as news? It feels like it is the news affecting most Nationwide customers today. I think you should make a post about the issue on your twitter feed. Will you do that?

    @AskNationwide Thanks but when checking the Nationwide website and the app at 0730 this morning the message was no issues and it as all green. (Since changed) Payment from the external bank immediately was returned with warning the recipient could not receive the payment and to try again later.

    @AskNationwide so if someone has sent me a payment for an expensive item, from a different bank, and I've let them take the item are you saying you won't have accepted it and I will be £675 down?
