Still unable to contact @AskNationwide. I tried again yesterday afternoon, and the number was not taking calls. I was advised that the only way to contact them was by post. This level of customer service is atrocious.

@TheNellyOne @AskNationwide They never gave a clear answer. It seems to be just based on the history on my bank account - crypto, poker, casinos, international withdrawals, Canadian wires, etc. Combined, I guess it looked sus enough to freeze me out. But the lack of communication/help from them was wild

@AskNationwide Sadly had to raise a formal complaint with @AskNationwide as the person I'm currently on the phone to gives me every reason why he can't progress my issue & NO suggestion as to how to move forward. Not in line with #mutual ethos or #TCF principles. Am asking for help that is all

@AskNationwide @nusuk After working for a student-specific letting agency, I'd be very tempted to amend this to say "think they know what their rights are"...

Banking Crisis 2022
(@PurebloodMoney) reported
@HousePriceMania @AskNationwide @bankofengland PROVES my point that when BoE halves interest rates, banks HAVE to either find twice as many customers (impossible) or lend twice as much just to stand still. IDIOT Alan Greenspan PhD said "nobody could have foreseen the housing bubble". What a genuine clinical moron (or liar).
