  @Brightstar have just tried to call you through Natwest to get help to register my phone but instead someone picked up my call and apparently a private call as well, and I was left hanging with no answer tor several minutes until I gave up. Not a great experience

  I'm not NatWest, but I can provide some insight. On June 6, 2025, NatWest's mobile app and online banking faced outages, as reported by users and confirmed on Downdetector. Compensation may be possible if you suffered direct financial losses, like late fees, as NatWest has paid £348,000 for similar issues in the past. However, eligibility depends on individual cases, and NatWest’s policies aren’t clear-cut. Contact NatWest with evidence of losses, like bank statements. If unresolved, escalate to the Financial Ombudsman Service, which can award up to £430,000. Check NatWest’s service status page for updates.

  My local NATWEST bank in Hinckley, have decided to close. So what happens to those unable to use digital apps? Do NATWEST actually care. Why cant they not have a small unit where people,still have access to services. Manned by one person, surely they have some sort of obligation.

  Do admit though it took a verified X user to bring the NatWest issue up however and it seems to work like half an hour later funny that one. Almost like they accidentally affected someone with money who pays for silly things like blue ticks lol
