@Missguided Got an email saying “your systems are down” so try again in 72hrs. Been a lot longer than that now, tried and no response. Again called NatWest to process this faster as it’s a joke

Safety Warning to #NatWest customers. I’m in Senegal (a country I can’t bring money into). I had registered my debit card as ‘going abroad’ however when I arrived at 2am, my card was frozen and I am still unable to access money. What kind of bank puts a woman in this situation?

The banks currently affected are Barclays, Bank of Scotland, Halifax, Lloyds, HSBC, Santander, Nationwide, NatWest, Monzo and Yorkshire Bank. The customers are reporting problems with transferring funds, online banking and mobile banking apps.

48 hours and no concrete help. And somehow it's legal for @natwest not to fix their mistakes which strand customers in other countries with no access to their funds.

@BrooklynDon6 @HumzaYousaf That’s your problem. NatWest Global HQ have already confirmed they will be moving south on independence so I assume will the other finance houses in Scotland along with Retail, Nuclear, Defence and Business. Denmark do not have a historical commercial ties - 200.000 jobs
