@MartinSLewis Martin, just doing a current a/c switch from FD to NatWest select A/C for the £150 switcher bonus. Natwest's own T+C's don't mention the 2 £2+ direct debits, only the £1250 one-off deposit by 12th May to qualify MSE website says you DO need the DD's Who's right?

@petefrasermusic @ellcol I spent Christmas in LA once and ended up having a lovely chat with a guy who was working NatWest’s fraud phone line at what was about 5am UK time, cheerily admitting to earning a fortune for that shift.

@NatWest_Help tried for days to contact Natwest via phone but been on call for over an hour each time and no answer. Trying to change address for child trust fund. Cant access online portal as letter went to old address. Terrible service.

Fair play to Natwest, for the phone banking service that offers to call you back when advisers aren't busy, then calls you back to put you on hold due to the advisers being busy.
