If a teller or csa at a NatWest did their shift reeking of alcohol, particularly when dealing with customers, they would be disciplined. He asked me what happened. I told him, ‘that gora hit me. How can a gora hit me?’” Rajeev Shukla later intervened to calm the situation (with the help of Sachin Tendulkar) with Sehwag insisting on an apology before reconciling.

Me and my Mrs have banked with this lot for 30+ years and we cannot even take our own cash out in large amounts! Twice we had meetings totalling about 4 hours and they ask the same questions and we answer every one but still no cash.

I have an account with NatWest, the branch in my town has only 2 staff: One teller/customer advisor and Branch Manager/Lead. Machine to deposit coins, cash in, pin resets, cheques scanners, digitised processes!

It's a question of public service versus commercial service. Rails different as passengers can't switch provider in any meaningful sense.
