My NowTV app wouldn’t allow me to stream #TheAshes last night & posted a message about technical/streaming problems. Having looked at the scorecard this morning I now appreciate it was probably too embarrassed to relay another shocker innings from @englandcricket

@NOWTV You can't even PRETEND you have a line issue to get round this. Because they force you to do a line test. At which point it tells you to (in essence) go away as your line is fine. It's a spectacular bit of chatbot shenanigans.

@PictureSporting Not going to defend that awful decision (or the move away from free TV in the first place), but I’ve found that switching to NowTV/BT monthly deals means I can swap a month at a time depending on who’s showing what… (Gone are the days of easy Kodi access to free sports, I think)
