-
Naomi Canton (@naomi2009) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE There are people in Somerset who have never had a mobile signal ever.
-
Carswift (@Carswift) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE So the Gov has to drop money from public infrastructure and fix the mess of private companies? And then these private companies will take the profit? hah
-
Nick Booth (@nicknickster) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @vodafone Exactly. They all share one network of masts now so no-one has an incentive (or an ability) to provide a better service
-
Tristan ☀️ (@trispretty) reported@O2 I get scam calls from people claiming to be you (I've never been with O2 Fyi) I try and keep them on the phone as long as possible and ensuring that they're wasting time with me and not a victim that might fall for the scam. #doingmybit
-
KettchUK (@KettchUK) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Don't worry, the private sector will be along any moment with that investment you said they'd be putting into the network decades ago.
-
Chris (@Chris94501165) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 Tom, cell masts use this thing called electricity. Essentially O2 are underpowering them due to the cost of energy. The bad news for you is that the cost of Net Zero is increasing those energy costs. Who enshrined it in to law? Secondary order consequences are a thing...
-
Felix Lowe (@saddleblaze) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE It’s quite a leap to blame your poor phone reception on cyclists, Tom. Be better.
-
Clifton (@ebisham) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 I was on the top of Leith Hill on Sunday you could see for miles in every direction but no signal at all. It’s a combination of nimbys objecting to phone masts and unwillingness to invest. Direct to mobile Starlink will buck their ideas up.

Andy Furnival (@AndyFurnival2) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 EE are just as bad. All networks believe the utter bollocks they peddle that coverage is fantastic. It was better when it was 3G. If only there was a regulator that could put an end to theoretical coverage maps 🤔
