There’s an art to choosing hold music. You could promote your company, cheer people up, or, as @O2 have opted, you can choose ghastly sub-lift noise, that will play terribly down the telephone in the hope that people will be unable to continue listening, and hang up.

I’ve had to spends copious amounts of time trying to sort out opening a new contract with @O2. If you’re going to switch to a new system called “360”, may I suggest you sort your problems out with the system asap instead of messing people about. Thanks.
