If its been years and you've not been looking at your bank then it's not their fault. Partial refund as goodwill maybe.

Huawei have said its a known issue they are trying to resolve via update/patch. Tried all resets. I now have a contract phone I bought for the amazing camera being useless.

They even boast about how they reduce energy consumption by switching equipment off/running in lower power. Esp in non peak periods such as overnight.
