Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@O2 You must see my frustration? I'm paying for a device that is no longer fit for purpose. A main feature no longer works. Your response is hoping @HuaweiUK release a fix soon. Huawei suggest I fix it myself. What has happened to customer service?

Adam Armour-Florence (@Miami_Delights) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@O2 hi folks. I currently can't login to my O2 on the app or in the website. Won't let me through to an advisor when I call 202. Looking to upgrade my mobile since you sent me a text to have it paid off early to upgrade. Please help.
-
BearB00- COMMISSIONS OPEN! (@Bear18586) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@O2 I understand that you're trying to help. But I'm paying money for 4G. I shouldn't have to downgrade to 3G. Other providers from my understanding do not have this issue. But the same people on o2 have same issues as me.

Niall Fitzgerald (@FitzerOfGlasgow) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@O2 I joined O2 this week and encouraged my wife to do the same. You have now screwed up her number port causing havoc in her business, damaging her livelihood and causing upset to vulnerable family we care for. Advisors just make baseless promises and lie when we call. #Fail

HM Maintenance (@Howard_Marsh) reported from Falkirk, Scotland@O2 Another day in Central Scotland travelling and bad signal and data from 02. Waiting until my contract expires. Can 02 give me a good provider information please for Central Scotland. Thank you.
-
Alison Hardie (@AlisonIHardie) reported from Kirkintilloch, Scotland@simonhouston68 @O2 I reckon u need to get them to accept your messages are a complaint, insist they treat it as one and then ask them when they 'started the clock' in terms of issuing you with a deadlock letter. Get that and then take it to Ofcom. Sounds utterly ridiculous to credit you, not repay!
-
Kevin McCleave (@KevinMcc713) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@O2 made a complaint to your customer services about my account. I asked for a manager to contact me, STILL WAITING. not good customer service is it.

-
Stephen O'Donnell (@steve5424) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@apakula @O2 Perhaps I've experienced both sides of the situation as a customer and an employee dealing with such things. The network I worked for as much as there were processes to follow things were mostly left to us to decided the outcome as we were top teir complaints.
-
Iain Montgomery (@H0raceWimp) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@O2 Is there any option that allows me to ask a question and have it at least recognised, never mind answered? Your bots are useless and I've given up waiting to talk to someone thousands of miles away.
-

-
Gary Weldon (@UbuntuBhoy) reported from Glasgow, ScotlandTrying to switch a number from an @O2 account to a new @O2 account in my daughter's name is proving impossible. Have the PAC so you would imagine it would be straightforward, but no, it's seems transferring within the network makes things harder. 3 days on and nothing.
-
David Steele (@Well4243David) reported from Coatbridge, ScotlandFYI! If you cancel your contract with @O2 and don't use the PAC number your contract will not be terminated I part exchanged my old @O2 IPhone for an upgrade with a new mobile network provider changing my contact details as part of the deal Beware £77 lighter in the pocket 💷 😔

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Son Lyme (@Son_Lyme) reported@kokeshimum @O2 Could it be because morons who receive awful service continue to subscribe and pay their monthly fee Sarah?
-
Gareth (@StockwoodCap) reported@kokeshimum @O2 Stuck for 2 hours on the M2 yesterday without moving. I was in a signal black spot so I could barely make a call and had no data… This was on the M2 in Kent. It’s hardly the middle of nowhere.
-
Brexit Refugee (@Brexit_Refugee) reported@kokeshimum @O2 One thing that bugs me in UK is the terrible signal. Next thing is if you have an “open reach” router it reserves 30% of your bandwidth for broadcasting a public 5G hotspot onto the street for Open Reach customers using the WiFi hotspot app…. Utter con.
-
Stevie (@RealStevieParry) reported@O2 gotta be the worst phone provider and when you need to speak to them involving fraud they go and cut you off 😭
-
Nigel Jones (@planetf1) reported@ajgbarnes @O2 don’t they have a price-cap anyway (certainly ee and voda do) so you could set that to 0,or low. So at worst would just stop working. You could get an esim to top up if needed. that being said crazy to not have a way of checking
-
Darth Wader (@LordoftheSplash) reported@kokeshimum @O2 02 are ****, we’ve moved to Smarty this week as it happens, just fed up with the terrible service and constant price rises.
-
𝕁𝕠𝕣𝕕𝕪 (@garynetchells) reported@O2 You’re joking…right?! It’s not a handset issue - it’s a rubbish network and infrastructure issue!!
-
John Till (@JohnTillUK) reported@McWhirterAlex @kieran_jsmith I had to leave @o2 after 29 years as the service had just deteriorated so badly. Didn’t want to leave but it just got to the point where it was regularly unusable on my travels. I’m now using a MVNO which uses EE and it’s just so much better for half the price too.
-
P-Man (@pmiddy78) reported@MattHuddyHudson @VodafoneUK @O2 Mate, the customer service for Vodafone is so, so, bad!
-
grace (@itsnotgracelolz) reportedHi @O2, I am on PAYG and topped up. Why am I getting an error when trying to log in to Priority followed by a text message telling me to top up to continue enjoying Priority? I have money in my balance & I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling it. Please help!
