O2 Issues Reports Near Glasgow, Scotland

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Glasgow and nearby locations:

  • steve5424 Stephen O'Donnell (@steve5424) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@apakula @O2 Perhaps I've experienced both sides of the situation as a customer and an employee dealing with such things. The network I worked for as much as there were processes to follow things were mostly left to us to decided the outcome as we were top teir complaints.

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@siward77 @HuaweiMobileUK @O2 I was thinking that. O2 are being sympathetic but beyond that no offers of any help. Huawei appear to still be in denial. Posted on their fb page and they replied and deleted my comment.

  • steve5424 Stephen O'Donnell (@steve5424) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@apakula @O2 Well O2 systems are all automated. People don't sit and monitor accounts. If you requested to cancel and they have notes confirming this and they didn't do it then the issue is theirs to fix and refund. I used to be customer relations for a different mobile network.

  • steve5424 Stephen O'Donnell (@steve5424) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 I'm still not able to make recieve calls on my new watch. I activated the esim but the watch is still showing as emergency calls only. Not connected to network.

  • scoobyhugh8 Hugh Toner (@scoobyhugh8) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 the service is rubbish how do I go about cancelling the contract

  • Shazzermc94 sharonm (@Shazzermc94) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

Been on hold with O2 now for 48 mins @O2 customer service isn’t great today!

  • thorburn_fiona Fiona Thorburn (@thorburn_fiona) reported from Stepps, Scotland

    @O2 how do I cancel Disney+ payment?

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Uddingston, Scotland

@O2 Me too because I'm paying for a premium camera phone that can't be properly used as a camera phone. Worst experience in over 10 years of being an o2 customer.

  • steve5424 Stephen O'Donnell (@steve5424) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@apakula @O2 I can't speak for them personally, however most contract T&Cs do state that after the minimum term ends its up to the customer to make contact and give notice. If its been years and you've not been looking at your bank then it's not their fault. Partial refund as goodwill maybe.

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Uddingston, Scotland

I wish this was a dream but... Has anyone else been told by @O2 that the reason their new @SamsungUK phone which was due to be delivered tomorrow is no longer in stock because the manufacturer wants to check overheating and sound issues before sending? No? Just me?

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 You must see my frustration? I'm paying for a device that is no longer fit for purpose. A main feature no longer works. Your response is hoping @HuaweiUK release a fix soon. Huawei suggest I fix it myself. What has happened to customer service?

  • steve5424 Stephen O'Donnell (@steve5424) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@apakula @O2 I would usually explain to the customer how our terms made it clear it was customers responsibility to end contract and also ofcom etc also advise customers to check banks accs regularly and monitor DDs. Then offer a max of 12 months refund as gesture of goodwill and close acc.

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Uddingston, Scotland

@SamsungUK @SamsungMobile is there a problem with overheating and sound issues on the S20 plus as I've just been told by @O2 and this is why it's taking longer to receive my new phone?

  • steve5424 Stephen O'Donnell (@steve5424) reported from Cambuslang, Scotland

@O2 hey guys. I have a Galaxy S20+ 5G from you that I got in June last year. Since yesterday the volume down button has been feeling soft and spongy and no longer clicks all the time. What can I do about it?

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 My phone hasn't physically broken. It's faulted, as many other P30 pro users have experienced after an update. I need the use of my phone. This is a fault due to Huawei.

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 What is the repairs process? I need my phone for banking etc, how would I go about getting a replacement? I'm happy with the phone apart from. This issue. As a long term o2 customer I'd expect a little help.

  • Tamus1314 Thomas Allan (@Tamus1314) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 what an absolute joke of a service. Set up a payment plan and pay it on time just to be repeatedly disconnected. Speak to payment management 3 times in 1 week to make sure you don’t get barred….and yet again , services barred!

  • FitzerOfGlasgow Niall Fitzgerald (@FitzerOfGlasgow) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 I joined O2 this week and encouraged my wife to do the same. You have now screwed up her number port causing havoc in her business, damaging her livelihood and causing upset to vulnerable family we care for. Advisors just make baseless promises and lie when we call. #Fail

  • AMontguire Andrew Montguire (@AMontguire) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 Need help with an account can’t speak to a agent on live chat as online says customer service is open until 10pm however when calling up seems not

  • FitzerOfGlasgow Niall Fitzgerald (@FitzerOfGlasgow) reported from Barrhead, Scotland

@O2 Contacted O2 several times now. Different timescale given each time. 'Another team will investigate and get back to you'. Meanwhile the damage to our business and family life gets worse. Wish we had never heard of O2

  • laisoliveirabrs Lahhhhhh (@laisoliveirabrs) reported

@O2 @DisneyPlusUK @cafeyn_uk CAFEYN IS AN EXTREMELY RUBBISH SERVICE. I ONLY GOT TO KNOW THIS BECAUSE IT WAS AN O2 ADD ON. WHEN I CLICKED THE LINK SENT BY O2 IT MADE ME LINK IT TO MY PAYPAL. CAFEYN CHARGED ME FOR A FREE SERVICE SINCE DAY 1 AND DOESNT WANT TO GIVE MY MONEY BACK

  • RyanC__24 Ryan Clegg (@RyanC__24) reported

@O2 Hi O2 I have followed your instruction and yet still have bad signal where I love and travel in South West. I mean come on reputable company like your self providing very poor service in which you state you have good service barely get 4g let alone 5g #badservice

  • NatalieBrereton Natalie Brereton (@NatalieBrereton) reported from Bristol, England

@O2 with all due respect, your phone service is absolutely ******* horrendous. No 4G in Bristol although I live centrally and my phone constantly tells me I have no internet connection. It’s such bollocks considering how much I pay a month. @VodafoneUK can you help me?

  • karleburford Karle Burford (@karleburford) reported

I recall when 3G was heralded as the future - now it means no signal. Then 4G was a new beginning but now means I may make a call but don’t try the internet. 5G is a game changer but has never worked in Bristol for me. @O2
