@apakula @O2 Perhaps I've experienced both sides of the situation as a customer and an employee dealing with such things. The network I worked for as much as there were processes to follow things were mostly left to us to decided the outcome as we were top teir complaints.

@O2 I joined O2 this week and encouraged my wife to do the same. You have now screwed up her number port causing havoc in her business, damaging her livelihood and causing upset to vulnerable family we care for. Advisors just make baseless promises and lie when we call. #Fail

@apakula @O2 I can't speak for them personally, however most contract T&Cs do state that after the minimum term ends its up to the customer to make contact and give notice. If its been years and you've not been looking at your bank then it's not their fault. Partial refund as goodwill maybe.

@apakula @O2 Well O2 systems are all automated. People don't sit and monitor accounts. If you requested to cancel and they have notes confirming this and they didn't do it then the issue is theirs to fix and refund. I used to be customer relations for a different mobile network.

@apakula @O2 I would usually explain to the customer how our terms made it clear it was customers responsibility to end contract and also ofcom etc also advise customers to check banks accs regularly and monitor DDs. Then offer a max of 12 months refund as gesture of goodwill and close acc.

@O2 I have just investigated your Volt benefits. According to your site, I'm not eligible because @virginmedia isn't available at my address. I'm sending this on their WiFi, having been a customer with them and predecessor companies for about 20 years.

@O2 Contacted O2 several times now. Different timescale given each time. 'Another team will investigate and get back to you'. Meanwhile the damage to our business and family life gets worse. Wish we had never heard of O2

@O2 Is there any option that allows me to ask a question and have it at least recognised, never mind answered? Your bots are useless and I've given up waiting to talk to someone thousands of miles away.

@o2 what is going on with your signal in the PA5 area. Johnstone and Elderslie have almost no data connectivity. It used to be good and it’s just gone downhill.

@O2 imagine being a phone provider and having employees who have no clue about working a phone. One can’t transfer a call and just hangs up. Requested a manager to call about shocking customer service and being charged £160, who can’t even call back within your 24 hours. Dreadful

@O2 Nope, new tried them, tried 4 phones all on o2 all have issues... Clearly oversubscribed masts... Gets a little better if I force 3g, but still a very bad experience... As soon as I am a few hundred meters away from the terminals and connect to another mast all is ok....

@O2 rh6onp Our Network can get busy in this area. This means your data could be slower than normal. We’re sorry about that. Our team is aware and working to make it better. Our top tips for staying connected would be to find local Wifi hotspots and download whatever content you need

@O2 I’d rather not have to cancel and re subscribe if I can avoid it. I spoke at length with an o2 agent when I took the deal and there was no mention of the account transferring over to o2, they just said the Disney account would pause as part of the offer.
