@JackTheL4d @abbeylinegold @OriginBroadband P.P.S. I'm also not aware of the full circumstances that's led to you having to cancel but if its borne out of your university going remote at the 11th hour then I'd look into your university t's and c's regarding consequential loss etc.

  • MrTClayts Tom Clayton (@MrTClayts) reported

@JackTheL4d @abbeylinegold @OriginBroadband I wasn't referring to the 5400 page document. It will have been right next to the price when you signed up. It's not really the fault of the service provider. If its as a result of Covid then can't you apply for a grant and/or support from the Govt or University?

just to add clarity, when we worked at @originbroadband we were told to never issue a refund until it had been chased 3 times. (its still the process)

@AmyBullContent @OriginBroadband If they legit said that to you I’m unsurprised. One of their tech support told me that DSL filters expire after 3-6 months and that changing my DNS servers could affect a ping or trace route result. My secret weapon was being a complete tech nerd

Sometimes I feel like I'm having a bad day, then I remember I don't work for @OriginBroadband's social team. Then I remember I'm a customer.

@RealKiro @_fadgie_ @OriginBroadband Expecting people to pay extra to make the service work properly ... Absolute charlatans ...

  • Schmell_DeCoffe Wake UP! and smell the Coffee (@Schmell_DeCoffe) reported

@OriginBroadban1 @OriginBroadband this is so true, you would go back to the customer with "Sorry, the cheque must have got lost in the post" excuse and they knew it was an outright lie, you might as well have just said "I promise I won't come in your mouth or get any in your hair"
