Interesting that @Plusnet but my wifi up to £47.99 a month without warning once my contract was up but now I’ve cancelled they can suddenly offer me a £25.99 contract for the exact same service. A cuntract if you will.

@jesseb4me @virginmedia @TalkTalk If you can, enquire with BT to fibre to the house. It’s being rolled out at an exponential rate. I’ve gone from Plusnet 45mbps to BT 900mbps and I get very strong signal from the router all over the house. It’s yet to dip below 700

@InCockKneeToe @Plusnet They are all the same. Threaten to leave, they may get you a better deal. But I have found if you get a new contract with another provider, your current provider will fall over themselves to give you a very good deal. All you then do is cancel the new deal. It’s all a big scam.

Terrible customer service from @Plusnet. Our internet goes down, 1st adviser gives us COMPLETELY wrong info & records problem wrong. 2nd adviser contradicts 1st by saying we can't get any of our WiFi costs covered whilst it's being fixed despite it being plusnets fault?

no sign of promised refund. Time to contact ombudsman and start making a lot of public noise about this. Billing issues are a common problem with @Plusnet, particularly when contracts are renewed. The repeated incompetence causes real stress and anxiety for its victims.

@kooky_uk @alexbloor @Link2076 Maybe I'm jaded, but I feel the kind of people who read industry mags are the kind of people who "but it's not unlimited" and "but I can get plusnet for £1/month less" and "your service is ****, I know how this works better than you, I used to build Internet for the US Military!"

@jesseb4me @virginmedia @TalkTalk Talk Talks service is notoriously bad. I'd look at PlusNet or Vodafone if you can get FTTP

@virginmedia Same issue on all browsers and devices. It's something specific to how the broadband isn't accessing the plusnet server, rather than a Thunderbird issue specifically.

@cheshiretoad @Glazedovernow I agree. One reason I moved my broadband to Plusnet. They dug me out of a hole a couple of times. Of course, the best customer service is never going to be the cheapest.
