@icklenellierose My original plusnet router would for absolutely no reason at all, do a full reset. Like 4x a night. Just switch itself off and on again. While I was playing online. Couldn't find cause Spent a fortune buying a proper wifi router for my house, and low and behold, no more issues.
@icklenellierose Crap that's trash, so frustrating when you're trying to work. I have plusnet here too and the WiFi is spotty for sure - hope you find a fix!
@plusnet calling again on another number and still holding with the worst music ever! Your company is terrible at sorting out issues, once you have your customers money you really dont care
Hi @Plusnet @plusnethelp Been with you for years and recently renewed the contract. Connection slower than ever and the old router keeps conking out... Maybe a new upto date one for a loyal customer?
@icklenellierose Was on Plusnet last year and switched because the service was so bad and they wouldn't help us without threatening a charge if they found nothing wrong. Can't help because the issue was never fixed but you are not alone in your experience
@icklenellierose Hey I actually have Plusnet - there’s a known issue where the 5ghz network just doesn’t work on the hub. A quick fix is to split your networks and just use the 2ghz, but we just bought a Nest WiFi router and switched off the WiFi on the Plusnet hub.
Is there a problem with the network? Or is it just me #plusnet
@tEeJ1980uk @Plusnet Are you seeing issues now? We moved some traffic due to a failing card which might have caused some disruption yesterday, not not aware of anything atm.
@plusnethelp Plusnet one hub started flashing orange at 2am. I've reset, light now blue but it's taking me to login and won't connect. Prior to this working fine apart from the last time it did this. Only had fibre a month after upgrade, not impressed. Ayr, KA8
Plusnet customer services atrocious. Charged £130 to leave when they couldn't provide the service I paid for.
