"I was also advised that as you don't want to have any account with us any more a cancellation fee would be applied as we have opened up a new account for you to fix this problem but you no longer wish to stay with us" @Plusnet 👌20 days for a new line. That's why I cancelled.

Sat 4m from my Plusnet router and not a hint of Wi-Fi on 2.4GHz or 5GHz. IPhone has defaulted to 4G. The worst Wi-Fi router I’ve ever had. Nothing but problems. There’s little point in delivering 40Gb/ps to the box unless it can be routed to devices. 10 days until it goes. 😞

@cstross I wish I could give recommendations, but in my experience VM and Plusnet are just as bad. I suppose this is why customer service is so poor across the board. What incentive is there to make an effort when your competitors aren't providing a noticeably better alternative?

@bt_uk Hi, my broadband recontract "offers" are higher than what I'm currently paying, and what I'm currently paying is far higher than offers from Sky and PlusNet. Can I cancel online without having to phone BT, as I'm always left waiting in a long queue?
