@Plusnet your Internet service is a disgrace 5 engineerers out in 2 months and still you can't stop the faults..... Off to @virginbroadband

  • shoddyknight Tim K | The Once and Future Skater (@shoddyknight) reported from Birmingham, England

PlusNet have admitted our Internet stability is terrible, with data showing outages every day for 14 days. They closed my Support Ticket cos I'm swapping my provider in Jan to get FTTP. Wonder maybe if that's additionally to do with their terrible service....

  • woofstreats Woof's Treats (@woofstreats) reported from Coventry, England

@Plusnet Worst customer service ever! Closed account on 30/01. Took DOUBLE payment. Now holding my money! I hate plusnet.

@Plusnet Why does the broadband ALWAYS fail when your office is about to close?

  • foraneasylife Richard Baily (@foraneasylife) reported from Birmingham, England

How is getting broadband so difficult with @Plusnet it is more comical than the comedian in the advert! Service drops out, they credit the account. System sees it hasn’t received money, so issues debt letter and stops service. Then told 10 days to get service back. @MartinSLewis

  • Lockstock277 Matt Wood (@Lockstock277) reported from Rugby, England

"I was also advised that as you don't want to have any account with us any more a cancellation fee would be applied as we have opened up a new account for you to fix this problem but you no longer wish to stay with us" @Plusnet 👌20 days for a new line. That's why I cancelled.

  • firkins11 Dan Firkins (@firkins11) reported from Birmingham, England

@plusnethelp @Plusnet sort your shit broadband out, how am I only getting 5mps download speed when promised 30mps+, disconnect multiple times from Xbox love when playing

  • misssheepy Emma Wilson (@misssheepy) reported from Royal Leamington Spa, England

@Plusnet . There seems to be a trend. Poor connection speed. If yr router is so poor stop providing it provide then £35 one you want me to buy. I raised this back in April still not sorted and when I leave I have to pay early leaving payment! Shocking

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Amber_DennyLGfL Amber Denny (@Amber_DennyLGfL) reported

@Plusnet Upgraded my plan, told sometime in next 10 days my internet will switch. Sat at my desk today ready for another work day from home to find I have no internet and won’t until midnight. Where was the warning? If I had known I would have warned my colleagues! Poor form PN.

  • walksmimi ElizaW (@walksmimi) reported

@steve87540247 Not yet! @Plusnet is the provider & they said BT will fix as fault at the exchange. Ridiculous the time it takes when we all need to stay home but need the internet! #comeonBT

  • CorpPOPHyde POP (@CorpPOPHyde) reported

@Plusnet @plusnethelp we are under the impression now that 1 of our volunteers has received a debt letter at their home address! how is that even possible? we have evidence of all our past correspondence with you we even emailed Phil Jensen detailing the bad service (2 of 2)

  • kai_hj Kai Hilton-Jones (@kai_hj) reported

@plusnethelp Are existing customers able to contact Plusnet customer support via web chat or email? I have a family member who is hard of hearing, so phone support won't work.

  • ChloesPJs Chloe (@ChloesPJs) reported

My parents are still without internet almost 3 weeks after @Plusnet said @OpenreachHelp needed to “test something”. This is some really **** customer service for us being new customers. And to think we moved away from @virginmedia because they weren’t able to fix their line.

  • ChloesPJs Chloe (@ChloesPJs) reported

@Ofcom is there any way to get service restored? Internet is such an important part of life even more so with the effects of the pandemic. @Plusnet is just incapable of even applying pressure to @OpenreachHelp to fix the issue and we are still paying for internet we don’t have.

  • stevetaylor13 SPT (@stevetaylor13) reported

@plusnethelp changed to Plusnet on 10th Feb. Taken until today for service to start. Due to long transfer have been charge post deal service price by current provider £21 more than Plusnet deal. just received email saying I’ve a £4.70 credit for this. 35 days to switch service!!

  • SuzanaGashi2 Suzana Gashi (@SuzanaGashi2) reported

@Plusnet @plusnethelp Why am I still receiving messaged to pay for my internet when I have been with another provider since January , the worst company.

  • helensurridge32 Helen Surridge (@helensurridge32) reported

@plusnethelp I need internet to do my NHS job. 9 working days without internet is really poor! Not how you keep loyal customers @plusnethelp @Plusnet

  • Capperisms Graham Capper (@Capperisms) reported

@lizpusey @plusnethelp @Plusnet That's attrocious service. Might be worth talking to Money Saving Expert, or even You and Yours. They'll bump Plusnet into action and maybe reduce the chances of it happening again.
