with the YouView box now refusing to do anything, again, I have reinstated the bypass and tuned the TV directly seeing as the distribution amp in the building is operating normally again, a call to Plusnet is in order to see if they can get me a new box or if not cancel the tv

  • nigelatcroft Dr. Nigel Coleman #FBPE (@nigelatcroft) reported from Reeth, England

@plusnethelp we have just switched to plusnet and are waiting for our broadband- our telephone is up and running but nothing about our broadband even though our previous provider cut our connection today -can you help?

  • paulm19822012 Paul McGee M0WNU (@paulm19822012) reported from Richmond, England

A few annoyances today, overcharged by a few pounds by Plusnet (a charge they said they'd apply in July) and the incompetent morons at Northern Powergrid sending me emails about the future of the network that they fail to maintain, not sure how the latter got my email address

@benootral @O2 @virginmedia wdym? Never stops working for me. 10/10, much better than the **** plusnet and sky things we had

  • carlheaton carl^ (@carlheaton) reported

Was a happy FTTC customer with @Plusnet , ordered FTTP as a new customer with @TalkTalk so I could test it out fully, no mention of transfer, just a different/new product. I can't say I'm massively surprised TalkTalk has disconnected Plusnet without my permission but WTF...

  • paul67davis ItinerantsRus (@paul67davis) reported from Maentwrog, Wales

Hey @Plusnet you've stopped responding to messages so I'll take it public again. Any progress on the porting issue? It's a week now that I've been messed around with no service from you.

  • Maribellmouse Marianne (@Maribellmouse) reported

@EmjayRox1 @Plusnet Same issue here! And they still are not warning new customers! It’s shameful!

  • Spheron1 Edward Dore (@Spheron1) reported

@carlheaton @Plusnet @TalkTalk TalkTalk were (understandably) rather annoyed as the line was still within the minimum term. I somehow managed to get it stopped (this was under the old switching rules) but Plusnet we’re too incompetent to work out how they had done this and fix it, so they ghosted me instead!

  • Spheron1 Edward Dore (@Spheron1) reported

@carlheaton @Plusnet @TalkTalk I had the opposite problem years ago - had a TalkTalk Business ADSL line to use as a backup and wanted to add a Plusnet FTTC line when leaving Virgin Media. Despite explicitly paying Plusnet to install a new line, they instead tried to take over the existing TalkTalk line!

  • Spheron1 Edward Dore (@Spheron1) reported

@carlheaton @Plusnet @TalkTalk I ended up having to cancel the Plusnet order and went with Zen instead. Not that they were much better in the end as they weren’t able to do basic troubleshooting of congestion on their own network.

  • JLWD51 Jlwd #BackBoris (@JLWD51) reported

@Plusnet They are to be awful company loyal customers get a price increase new customers can get the same deal for less and £60 gift card.

  • ktnolanxx katie (@ktnolanxx) reported

@Plusnet I am disgusted that you are allowing people to take out phone contacts without notifying them that there is an issue. I want to switch to a different provider but have been told that I could lose my original phone number. I have now been without a working phone since 12th April.
