@BBCBenThompson actually spoke with @Plusnet yesterday as I was out of contact paying over the odds asked if I could have the "new customer" deal was basically told no even though I have been a customer for many years. So I've cancelled for a cheaper deal. #nodiscountforloyalty

@tweetd99 @LozzaFox Plusnet. Never had a problem. Few billing queries but for internet and stability, can't fault them.

@LozzaFox We had to resort to two suppliers. Add Plusnet additionally. Pathetic but Internet too essential. If really critical you can also add Simrush effectively tapping into phone network internet

@Markgsparrow @BenedictMPWhite Well we did that. Trouble is when companies splinter they tend to reform into larger entities or failing that they create other companies to maintain that illusion of choice. As an example that lovely little local Yorkshire outfit Plusnet is just BT with a flat cap on.

@plusnethelp Do PlusNet revel in being rude, and refusing to answer anything but the most trivial questions? When they break something, why do they hide behind "Does the internet connect?" - if so we've done our job?
