They're doing what they can at the mo for us: sent openreach engineer + new router out.

My internet connection has been really unstable the last few days; it'll have periods of being fine, and then be up and down ten times in half an hour. Dean (@xdean2) reported@Plusnet looking to change broadband providers from BT but read somewhere that if you try just get routed back to see the expensive option trying to get away from. Can you confirm can swap to plusnet as new customer with new customer pricing from BT?
