Plusnet Issues Reports Near Newmarket, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Newmarket and nearby locations:

  • mrbrady72 Ken Adams ⛰️ (@mrbrady72) reported from Dalham, England

Just had my first post increase bill from the shysters who are @Plusnet - bill up by £6 a month for exactly the same service. If I could leave without penalty, I would - but their disingenuous business practices won’t allow this. #robbed

  • Warboyssnapper Andrew Bartram 🇺🇦 🇪🇺 (@Warboyssnapper) reported from Dalham, England

@PolaRooS @Plusnet Always had excellent service from BT - recently got a new 2 year contract and an open reach engineer came to install it and he rationalised wires in the house, traced an earth daily to the exchange and we gained 10Mp in speed to 78

  • bridesbysolo Brides By Solo (@bridesbysolo) reported from Dullingham, England

@Plusnet A huge Thankyou to Adam Ramsden at Plus Net. After months of no broadband with no one else helping, he’s fixed the problem & enabled me to WFH in Lockdown. A big thank you & a credit to Plusnet.

  • christinet50 Christine Taylor (@christinet50) reported from Waterbeach, England

Why am I not offered the same rates as a new customer? @Plusnet should I switch? #treatloyaltylikeroyalty

@Xyalon @cl_gamble @Plusnet When we were fighting this constantly, it was the middle syllable that caused the issues. Or so they said. They always remembered to unblock Scunthorpe.

  • we_are_biscuit 💖💜💙 thisisbiscuit (@we_are_biscuit) reported

@Stoicfnord @Plusnet It's a customer (though I suspect not for much longer) of theirs who this happened to. I'm just shouting about it. Don't want them getting piled on otherwise I'd have made a thread around their original tweet.

  • Spacejunkie4 ᔕᑭᗩᑕEᒍᑌᑎKIE (@Spacejunkie4) reported

@Plusnet My connection's gone weird. It's erratic & some web pages just hang 4 ages, then are fast again. I emptied cache, deleted all history, disabled extensions, ran CleanMyMac & turned router off & on again & restarted my Mac & not really any better so I'm stumped. Any clues?

  • Xyalon Xyalon (@Xyalon) reported

@cl_gamble @we_are_biscuit @Plusnet Reading in the bio it's just a support account that is no longer in use. That still doesn't explain why it's still active and set to private, which is really bizarre. Their current support account is open, but being silent on this matter, so not exactly confidence inspiring.

  • pat1doughty Pat1doughty (@pat1doughty) reported

@Plusnet Perhaps Kathryn could@help@Plusnet Mobile, moved my daughters phone to them, they sent me another customers SIM, cut off her phone, sent her on her first holiday since 1st Lockdown, 120 mile drive , 2 young children, no phone! That’ll do Plusnet…..Really

  • goomba82 Tiffany Stevenson (@goomba82) reported

@llucyjoness @Plusnet Did @Plusnet ever contact you to at least TRY resolving it or to at least let you know they were working on a resolving their horrendous service? Sucks they're the only option.

  • safqety yyyoung (@safqety) reported

@Mac27111960 @Plusnet Damn I faced the same situation I tried contacting Facebook support and got automated robot replies, I even tried appealing but to no avail not untill I got recommended to @Microtullz on Instagram who helped me reactivated my account in less than an hour, you should contact him

  • audreybowenprof Audrey Bowen (@audreybowenprof) reported

@Plusnet do you have a hacking problem? Please would you check. Thanks I Received a convincing phishing text from my child (also on plusnet) with link to a fake photo/video message & a password. Might be a one off but I Thought it worth reporting to you just in case.

  • Suffolk_Chris Christopher Ellis (@Suffolk_Chris) reported

@Plusnet None of the trouble shooting suggestions make a difference and this is the third time I think that I’ve gone through them. Seriously fed up with it now.

  • GarniLauren lauren garni (@GarniLauren) reported

I actually can’t believe the audacity of @johnlewishelp and @Plusnet anybody seeking a new internet provider, please, DO NOT go with John Lewis x Plusnet. You’ll be hundreds out of pocket and without a stellar service....or any service at all for that matter. Shambles.
