  • ISaidAye Beth☮ (@ISaidAye) reported from Dalkeith, Scotland

@robmcd85 @TalkTalk I was with them for four years and had the same problems. Switched to @Plusnet and have had no issues at all. Faster speed and better price.

  • balnastraid Lauder Miller (@balnastraid) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@Bricrabtree History shows that they never did .... when we hear John MacDonald say “ nobody will loose their Job in the sector and he talks about amalgamating the workforce’s of Openreach, Virgin, PlusNet etc you know your going to finish up with £1bn + wage bill and no income stream.

  • AlexLamond1 Alex (@AlexLamond1) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

Actually, this seems to be an #Openreach outage. #Sky #PlusNet, #Vodafone and #BT all affected

  • gm8arv David Taylor 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🇪🇺 (@gm8arv) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@G4ELI @GD3YEO @virginmedia Sounds better! Good service from PlusNet? BT don’t have a good reputation.

  • MonkeyLuvver John McCormick (@MonkeyLuvver) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@CraigDobbin1990 @Plusnet That's ridiculous!. I'll give them a chance to sort it but if they can't provide me a service I'm paying for then I'll need to look elsewhere. I appreciate the headsup mate and I hope they'll sort you out as well as compensate you. Not good news at all.

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Stopper_Says Matthew Ward (@Stopper_Says) reported

@Plusnet your online chat support says to contact via twitter. I'm having issues with wifi dropping our periodically, as well as not getting the guaranteed minimum speed in my contract. Please contact me back

  • EyUpPete Ey Up Pete (@EyUpPete) reported

@Plusnet is the internet service down in South Yorkshire? I've got kids trying to do live lessons with no internet

  • MaltBox Andy at Malt Box (@MaltBox) reported

Twittersphere. Non-whisky question. Can anyone recommend a decent router sub £75? The @Plusnet router we've had for a couple of years is shambolic in terms of stability.. makes a right racket too.

  • PhosgeneStudios Jake W (@PhosgeneStudios) reported

@Jonmitson @plusnethelp The routers do have a tendency to have a high-pitched/frequency noise. Plusnet are aware of this, and the issue only occurs when 5GHz is enabled. :)

  • SteveDonovan1 Steve Donovan (@SteveDonovan1) reported

@virginmedia Feedback from a colleague with exactly the same issue a few months ago - she simply resolved her problem by switching suppliers to Plusnet. Her problem solved. In the absence of any proper official technical advice from Virgin, I could perhaps take my 15yrs of custom elsewhere.

  • natalie31190917 natalie (@natalie31190917) reported

@Plusnet @plusnethelp please can someone respond as having broadband issues been on hold for over an hour and have a year 11 child cannot access online schooling

  • estrellasadie EstrellaSadie 💙 (@estrellasadie) reported

@Firesnakious Maybe check the settings on the new router? My router, provided by PlusNet is awful, and drops out all the time. I keep meaning to replace it.

  • alantowle Madball (@alantowle) reported

@Tonysmini @OpenreachHelp @VodafoneUK I've no service at all now. Openreach email on Christmas day said ultrafast now enabled. Arranged to transfer. Transfer/activation date was given as 15th and Plusnet ceased old service at that point. Vodafone, after me pushing, give various stories about what is happening

  • paulmadkayaker Paul Barrowcliffe (@paulmadkayaker) reported

@plusnethelp Hi. My mother signed up for plusnet broadband and phone back in January 2020. Her package should include caller id but it’s not working, it never has. Can you check this please?

  • Glamouranna 💚💜Anna Sans Souci (she/her) (@Glamouranna) reported

Hi @Plusnet your openreach engineer stood me up? I've been waiting since 8am and still no news... It is impossible to reach you on the phone, could you help?
