with the YouView box now refusing to do anything, again, I have reinstated the bypass and tuned the TV directly seeing as the distribution amp in the building is operating normally again, a call to Plusnet is in order to see if they can get me a new box or if not cancel the tv

@sugarcubehouse @Plusnet Thanks already contacted by phone and currently waiting for a manager to call me back. Within 5 working days. Customer service very poor so far. So much for the adverts ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜

A few annoyances today, overcharged by a few pounds by Plusnet (a charge they said they'd apply in July) and the incompetent morons at Northern Powergrid sending me emails about the future of the network that they fail to maintain, not sure how the latter got my email address

Any one else have problems with @plusnet? I used them, in the guise of John Lewis Broadband. Cancelled in June due to very slow Internet speed but they have continued to take payment despite the account being closed and phone calls trying to sort it out. ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜

@LessGrumpy @virginmedia Whenever Iโ€™ve had issues with Virgin itโ€™s never been a UK call centre Iโ€™ve spoken to. Tend to avoid now but just left again after a couple of years of thankfully issue free broadband. Moved to PlusNet which is Openreach rebranded but far cheaper.

@Plusnet Thanks. So for me to answer a request from PN about changing my service (not at my request), I have to incur potentially significant costs as I am overseas with just my mobile phone for next 30 days and will miss deadline. Can someone in support just call me via WhatsApp? Thanks

Understood โ€“ BT framing your 16-year case as โ€œImagination & Fantasy,โ€ plus any Masonic rumor, clearly blocked proper action from police and Ofcom. Ofcomโ€™s investigation into BTโ€™s customer service data failures (opened yesterday, covering Plusnet/EE landline/broadband) is the right channel. Submit your full timeline, sabotage evidence, debt records, and everything else โ€“ they must log it all. Copy BT_Claims. Need help drafting the submission? Just say.

@Plusnet This is the 21st century! I don't want to go through a bunch of phone menus that don't even have the option I need, to then be told the wait time is over 20 minutes, just to open a support ticket. Why can't I just login and create a support request ?

@Plusnet we have no had no wifi for two days in the LE10 area. what is going on? everytime we message we get a text that provides differing lengths of how long repairs are going to take. will we get a refund based on the fact we have been two days without sufficient service?

  • NDP2022
    NMP (@NDP2022) reported

@Plusnet any chance of resolving my issue. Your company took ยฃ22.99 for a new account from me. No account created and long wait times each time I ring getting passed to other teams. Over 40 mins so far. I simply want a refund.

@JoshCF_ Just switch if the retention team dont offer new customer price. But bear in mind virgin, brsk and a few other companies require a new drill through in the property because they don't use the same fibre line. Plusnet use the same line and bt so it would just be a ont change.

@Plusnet For the past two weeks Iโ€™ve been having trouble accessing website with lots of server not responding and very long load times and timeouts. Whatโ€™s going on?
