A few annoyances today, overcharged by a few pounds by Plusnet (a charge they said they'd apply in July) and the incompetent morons at Northern Powergrid sending me emails about the future of the network that they fail to maintain, not sure how the latter got my email address

Any one else have problems with @plusnet? I used them, in the guise of John Lewis Broadband. Cancelled in June due to very slow Internet speed but they have continued to take payment despite the account being closed and phone calls trying to sort it out. 😠😠😠

@sugarcubehouse @Plusnet Thanks already contacted by phone and currently waiting for a manager to call me back. Within 5 working days. Customer service very poor so far. So much for the adverts 😠😠😠

with the YouView box now refusing to do anything, again, I have reinstated the bypass and tuned the TV directly seeing as the distribution amp in the building is operating normally again, a call to Plusnet is in order to see if they can get me a new box or if not cancel the tv

@Plusnet how on earth can you justify a nearly £9 increase during a fixed price contract!!! 😡That's way above what an April rise should be! Unacceptable! Goodbye forever! I will never make the mistake of choosing plusnet again.

@Plusnet any other way of getting hold of you other than phone? We would like to not keep the internet once our contract ends on the 8th of June as we’d rather not be paying £42. I can’t call so I need to be able to cancel without being told to ring. Thanks!

@marktheram7 Never had any issue with Plusnet, Mark. Very reliable and only once in 5 years have we had an issue. No idea if cheaper for you, but recommend them.

@GreyAlien @Plusnet my average speed is 0.9 mbps and im sick to the teeth of excuses and fob off solutions! It used to be about 10-11 mbps which was crap but done the job bit has got beyond a joke now.

@caz90210 Hi there, we're not aware of any issues in your area. That sounds like either a problem with the SIM card or the phone not being able to detect it. I suggest turning the phone off, removing and re-entering the SIM. Please let me know how you get on. - Adam - Plusnet Sheffield

@ItsMadJohn @Hyperoptic Moving to Plusnet on the 23rd. Still gonna have crap speeds though since thats all you can get round here. Really wanna move to Milton Keynes in the next couple of years. They near 100% FTTP.
