@tfoale @EnglishmanAdam @Plusnet Not enough competition and too much of a monopoly so no pressure to proceed / progress, thatโ€™s the problem and government not issuing fines for delays by @bt_uk We are well behind other countries! They laugh when we say our โ€˜superfastโ€™ is 76mb tops! ๐Ÿ˜‚

My contract with #plusnet is due for renewal in August. I had an email to confirm it. Strangely enough I've had a rather less than perfect service since. If this is a ploy to get me to sign up again they're making a mistake. A consistently good service would be better.

Internet is slowing down from 10:30am @plusnet and doesn't work at full speed until early evening. While I realise there a lot of people working from home, that Also includes myself. I may be forced to find another provider if this doesn't improve.

A consistently good service is what would persuade me to stay #plusnet

Having some issues with my internet- buffering etc. Funny that because, call me cynical, but it's comes on the heels of an email saying my contract with #plusnet is up for renewal in August. If this is how how they're gonna get me to stay they're making a big mistake.

@tfoale @EnglishmanAdam @Plusnet Iโ€™m 800 meters (as crow flies) from the nearest cabinet & on a FTTC service atm, but OpenReach have recently connected a new estate close to my home up. I spoke to engineers who said itโ€™s FTTP! Iโ€™m hoping in the next 6 months Iโ€™ll be able to get FTTP as well and cut out copper!

It's now been over a week without broadband and still no confirmed fix time. According to Plusnet, Openreach don't even work on problems over a weekend. Not good enough! @Plusnet @WeAreOpenreach

@Benleo Awful shower to deal with. So relieved when I finally got shot of them and got a simple deal with PlusNet

@JoshCF_ Just switch if the retention team dont offer new customer price. But bear in mind virgin, brsk and a few other companies require a new drill through in the property because they don't use the same fibre line. Plusnet use the same line and bt so it would just be a ont change.

Sadly we are still last mile copper here, no Community/Open Reach fibre yet but we do have Virgin Media (old cable)... Yes I know...but I suspect support will be as **** like nearly all of them now....if Plusnet wasn't dropping phones and Zen wasn't hyper expensive I'd use them.

@WeAreOpenreach please can someone help. Following a no show for an installation on Tuesday. Todayโ€™s engineer M group for OpenReach couldnโ€™t get the full fibre running. Said that another engineer would come. No update yet and Plusnet help on phone could not give any help can you?

@Plusnet I keep getting an "unfortunately we've hit a problem" when logging into my account to pay the bill. Plus my connection isnt very good. Solution for this?

  • MarkHowitt

Slighty worried about @Plusnet cust service as a @bt_uk shareholder... he said it wasn't part of his job to know about the direct debit guarantee!

@saltyy_savage Have a look at PlusNet, runs on the BT network without their awful pricing and terrible customer support (Iโ€™ll never use them again). Or look at one of the smaller fibre companies, Iโ€™m with a company called Squirrel and get 1GB up/down for ยฃ28 a month with no mid contract price increases.
