Bio & About Page Copywriter (@gillianography) reported from Y Felinheli, WalesInternet is slowing down from 10:30am @plusnet and doesn't work at full speed until early evening. While I realise there a lot of people working from home, that Also includes myself. I may be forced to find another provider if this doesn't improve.

Jon 🕷 (@jmarcjones) reported from Bethesda, Wales@tfoale @EnglishmanAdam @Plusnet I’m 800 meters (as crow flies) from the nearest cabinet & on a FTTC service atm, but OpenReach have recently connected a new estate close to my home up. I spoke to engineers who said it’s FTTP! I’m hoping in the next 6 months I’ll be able to get FTTP as well and cut out copper!

Jon 🕷 (@jmarcjones) reported from Bethesda, Wales@tfoale @EnglishmanAdam @Plusnet Not enough competition and too much of a monopoly so no pressure to proceed / progress, that’s the problem and government not issuing fines for delays by @bt_uk We are well behind other countries! They laugh when we say our ‘superfast’ is 76mb tops! 😂

The Bio Copywriter 🏴 (@gillianography) reported from Y Felinheli, WalesA consistently good service is what would persuade me to stay #plusnet

The Bio Copywriter 🏴 (@gillianography) reported from Y Felinheli, WalesMy contract with #plusnet is due for renewal in August. I had an email to confirm it. Strangely enough I've had a rather less than perfect service since. If this is a ploy to get me to sign up again they're making a mistake. A consistently good service would be better.

The Bio Copywriter 🏴 (@gillianography) reported from Y Felinheli, WalesHaving some issues with my internet- buffering etc. Funny that because, call me cynical, but it's comes on the heels of an email saying my contract with #plusnet is up for renewal in August. If this is how how they're gonna get me to stay they're making a big mistake.

Aethyr Heartsong ΘΔ🐺🌕 (@AethyrUlf) reportedOh ffs. My internet connection has been really unstable the last few days; it'll have periods of being fine, and then be up and down ten times in half an hour. This obviously makes doing anything online awkward at best. Of course, the moment I call @Plusnet, it stabilises.

AlanJSlater (@AlanJSlater) reported@Plusnet Hello, sorry to trouble you. No wifi connection to my Mac. Says no network found and I have, of course, tried to connect to correct network. Thanks Alan Slater

Sean Clarke (@SeanClarke17595) reported@LozzaFox We had max 12-14 mb/s from Plusnet. I was paying £44/ month inc tel line ( no mobile signal either) Starlink I get 100mb/s for £35/m and VoIP for phone £4 It’s the way to go !

Freedom Valley (@VRvalley) reported@PlusnetHelpHub I'm not a Plusnet customer, I'm closely observing this scandal. Transferring sensitive data (email archive) without explicit permission is a huge violation of data protection act. I'm recommending you compensate your customers before legal action starts.
-
Mark Crowther (@MarkTWIC) reported@Owramgirl @bt_uk I'm considering Vodaphone if price is the main concern, Plusnet is also on that list. Zen if I decide to pay more for a company that seems more customer focused. All are cheaper than the best offer from BT.

DaftApeth 🐦 🕊️ (@madanna69) reported@AlexanderGaeta6 @Plusnet it's been bad for us most of the 22 months we've been with them. switching in april - not worth the effort keep complaining

Commonsense1974 (@commonsense7574) reported@DerylLynn @Plusnet They work on a 3F policy. Find it, fix it, f@&k another one up. Joking aside, it’s disgusting really.

Carl Fandidango (@ComTekMan) reported@CommsOmbudsman Elderly vulnerable customer (80s, health issues) left without reliable phone for weeks due to failed BB migration. Plusnet initiated transfer to EE, OR install failed, EE cancelled order despite OR advice to proceed when ready. Repeated faults even after "repair".

Richard (@visitandtravel) reportedI just signed up for Starlink - finally gave in, the EE 4G has been broken for 3/4 days - now basically running on candle power - back onto the fallback BT copper broadband @ Plusnet - 3MB connection and costing me £28 a month on a 1 year contract - a lot more for the standard line rental and broadband if I do not take the 1 year contract. So now as I am in Caithness 3 miles away from a telephone exchange I need to pay EE for semi-decent 4G broadband when it works, and BT through Plusnet to have a working telephone for emergencies if 4G fails - as it does. And yet I still have the emails from the Scottish Government from over 8 years ago saying everyone would be on fast fibre connection by 2020 or around that time. I checked with Openreach and they have no intention of laying fibre to the property even though they can get access to a Government grant of over £4,400 to do so. A company, Highland Broadband is busy taking these rural fibre broadband grants and doing their best to get the north of Scotland rural and small towns connected - I am signed up for a 1GB fibre connection - supposed to be getting installed this summer - I just cant wait that long so - yet another expense for a poor pensioner (me) having to pay out for yet another broadband connection with Starlink. As I am in contract to Plusnet (BT), EE I can see if Highland Broadband do deliver the fibre by July - I will have 4 contracted broadband accounts until the contracts run out. If Only the Scottish Government had kept to their promises I would only need to have one connection.

Dan (@villanews11) reported@bt_uk how do I cancel my contract as I dont want to renew due to plusnet doing it cheaper
