Bio & About Page Copywriter (@gillianography) reported from Y Felinheli, Wales

Internet is slowing down from 10:30am @plusnet and doesn't work at full speed until early evening. While I realise there a lot of people working from home, that Also includes myself. I may be forced to find another provider if this doesn't improve.

@tfoale @EnglishmanAdam @Plusnet Not enough competition and too much of a monopoly so no pressure to proceed / progress, that’s the problem and government not issuing fines for delays by @bt_uk We are well behind other countries! They laugh when we say our ‘superfast’ is 76mb tops! 😂

  • jmarcjones
Jon 🕷 (@jmarcjones) reported from Bethesda, Wales

@tfoale @EnglishmanAdam @Plusnet I’m 800 meters (as crow flies) from the nearest cabinet & on a FTTC service atm, but OpenReach have recently connected a new estate close to my home up. I spoke to engineers who said it’s FTTP! I’m hoping in the next 6 months I’ll be able to get FTTP as well and cut out copper!

@callumd @Plusnet Myself and 2 of my neighbours have been out for 24hrs now, not a plusnet issue apparently 🙄

  • Phantom_Dash
    Okami Amaterasu (@Phantom_Dash) reported

@Plusnet Hi, I want to change the phone number that our broadband is supplied to, the faults page said to contact the support team, which is here I'm assuming. Trying to figure out why our broadband is really slow despite paying for Fibre. Where would I go to change the number?

  • UKPam
    Pam McDonald (@UKPam) reported

@Plusnet At long last I got a new router, thank you. I fitted it up and then I am left with the old one. Please what do I do with it? I have had quite a few but never been quite sure what the solution is. Please advise.

@Plusnet Bunch of thieves. Cancelled my service (JohnLewisBroadband) within my 14-day cooling off period. Now hounding me for £71.80 for a service I never used - Extortionists!!!!!

  • Duncan_Ellis_
    Duncan Ellis (@Duncan_Ellis_) reported

@JohnLewisRetail Your Broadband Partners PLUSNET are thieves extorting your customers. How can they be chasing me for a £71.80 bill for a broadband service that was cancelled within the 14-day legal cooling off period and never used? Dragging your name into the dirt

  • mufo
    Murray Forsyth (@mufo) reported

@JamesHarkin 2/ Plusnet for many years now and never seen any problem. No doubt people will have good experience of some of the poorer providers, but which magazine aggregates hundreds of reviews over a long period, so are very trustworthy.

  • richarddmorey
    Richard D. Morey (@richarddmorey) reported

hmmm, @plusnet support just asked for the Nth and Mth character of my login password as a security check. This implies that they store passwords unhashed, right? Is storing password hashes instead of plain text out of fashion?

  • LauraStanley88
    Laura Stanley (@LauraStanley88) reported

@Plusnet I am trying to contact you on 0800 4320080 which is the number on your website but it says it is not a recognised number. Our broadband is not working and we need it fixed ASAP.

  • rockne66

@Plusnet Broadband connection went dead at 2pm, followed troubleshooting steps, raised tickets, etc. Is there a wider ISP issue in the Bath area?

  • dove_jenny
    Jenny Dove (@dove_jenny) reported

@Plusnet @MarcAllera Why, after numerous attempts to resolve my serious complaint regarding an incorrect DCA, has no one responded to me after 3 weeks? How is this 5* customer service?
