They laugh when we say our ‘superfast’ is 76mb tops! 😂

If this is how how they're gonna get me to stay they're making a big mistake.

Jon 🕷 (@jmarcjones) reported from Bethesda, Wales@tfoale @EnglishmanAdam @Plusnet I’m 800 meters (as crow flies) from the nearest cabinet & on a FTTC service atm, but OpenReach have recently connected a new estate close to my home up. I spoke to engineers who said it’s FTTP! I’m hoping in the next 6 months I’ll be able to get FTTP as well and cut out copper!

While I realise there a lot of people working from home, that Also includes myself. I may be forced to find another provider if this doesn't improve.

During power cuts NO wifi so no WhatsApp. Using an old style plug in phone we (have so far) ALWAYS been able to make phone calls - those of us who ( currently are not digital) BT changed me to digital plusnet changed me back

Strangely enough I've had a rather less than perfect service since. If this is a ploy to get me to sign up again they're making a mistake. A consistently good service would be better.

It could be a node, it could be a cable, a pole, hell.. it could even be another user of that same net that has a device that's faulty, which results in a very unstable connection for you and A LOT of other users of that same cable that goes through your den. Ofcom rules state that if a provider makes a change to your contract that is of "material detriment" (meaning it makes you worse off), they must allow you to leave the contract early without paying a cancellation fee.

Transferring sensitive data (email archive) without explicit permission is a huge violation of data protection act. I'm recommending you compensate your customers before legal action starts.
