@OwsWills @martinjohnes @Plusnet We’re a bit further up and they’ve pretty much done where we are and making their way down I think? Just checked a random Armagh city postcode on the virgin website and says not available. Weird as there’s so many vans and engineers about

  • ultraman_ginger Twisted Tea Shep (@ultraman_ginger) reported

@rosstmiller Switched to Plusnet and they offered to set it up for me and call me back when it was done. Despite switching from cable to dial up, the speed is similar and it's much cheaper. They've been slower since lockdown, in fairness, but never had to call them.

@OwsWills @Plusnet NowTV is def most cost effective. I do this and cancel when not in use and restart again I.E. in line with football season. No contract and easy replaceable stick if goes wrong.

@MoneySavingExp What's your advice when switching to Fibre actually leads to more problems? Slow speed, variable speeds are the same as ordinary broadband Plusnet says'set up the new router, splitting signal' but do ALL providers expect the customer to sort out problems?

  • Christo09801069 Christopher French (@Christo09801069) reported

Don't be fooled by @Plusnet otherwise known as Putin-Net. I called to take my service with we when moving, but I've now had debt collectors set on me for a service that I did NOT cancel. They refused to listen; refused to take responsibility. Disgraceful arrogance. Nasty company.

@plusnethelp When does Plusnet, seeing 0.4mbps sync speed on customer migration line, decide that something is wrong on the line?

  • ben_botes Ben Botes (@ben_botes) reported

@plusnet and @plusnethelp Dear plusnet - how can I cancel my account please. your coverage is terrible and there is nowhere to get hold of someone on your website.

  • Ladthaks_k kriti lad (@Ladthaks_k) reported

@plusnethelp A joke to give £10 for elderly people as faulty line. What are elderly suppose to do know, cannot go out as of Corona, watching tv all day is boring as rubbish on tv. Plusnet is terrible waited just over 30mins on phone just to hold
