@ItsGav86 Remember that Smarty won’t have their own network; there are only 4 carriers. Smarty uses Three’s network underneath, so check its coverage in areas you live and go. You might also lose some features compared with Three. (eg, Plusnet Mobile uses EE & lacks its WiFi Calling)

@Plusnet my router has had a solid orange light for 15 minutes now. I’ve tried restarting it to no avail. I get the odd connection drop every month or so but only for a matter of seconds. Never this long.

  • le_cheeseman The Frunkadactyl (@le_cheeseman) reported

Hi @Plusnet, I was planning on switching to another provider and had confirmation that they got in touch with you. I have now changed my mind and would like to know how to keep my contract with you active and cancel the change. Thanks

  • PeteSutton Pete Sutton (@PeteSutton) reported

@Plusnet "Fraid not. Thanks for getting back. There's a long thread on the Plusnet Forum (search for 'Screwfix') which goes into a lot of technical detail which is all beyond me. The problem started some time in the past 4 weeks – it worked fine up to then.

  • BillyBalls20 Billy ***** (@BillyBalls20) reported

@Plusnet never have I come across a more incompetent company than this lot, completely useless, messed up my bill, lied to me continually about installation of upgrade and impossible to contact…. anyone recommend a good broadband provider?

  • offaltrades Jack Anon (@offaltrades) reported

@decent_doge @ThreeUK Unfortunately not had such good assistance from @Plusnet who demanded that I pay two additional weeks for a terrible intermittent service that I want to cancel.

  • pepler18 Gary Pepler (@pepler18) reported

@Plusnet 4 rings if you are a new sale - 1 HOUR AND 40 MINUTES ON HOLD if you are an existing order - AGAIN. 3rd day of over an hour on hold and nobody answers. 10 days since ordering and still no date for install. NEVER BUY FROM PLUSNET

  • Screwfix Screwfix (@Screwfix) reported

@MilesMo09705052 Hi, we have been told that some PlusNet customers have not been able to get onto our website. If you are with PlusNet you will need to call them to unblock our website. If the issue still persists please let us know. Thanks, Megan

  • redfellterrier Tony King (@redfellterrier) reported

@Plusnet It is resolved but a 4-day response time is pretty poor and entirely in keeping with my experience of trying to contact Plusnet.

  • vivmarshuk Viv Marsh (@vivmarshuk@mstdn.social) (@vivmarshuk) reported

@Plusnet Also - when you (and other companies) say you're 'experiencing a very high volume of calls', day after day, week after week, you just mean you haven't got enough staff. Hence I put down the phone and have written this instead.

  • ArtemisW15 Artemis W (@ArtemisW15) reported

@Plusnet my router keeps breaking. I can’t fix it myself. I’ve tried to contact you but the numbers on your website come up as “not recognised” when calling - they’re out of service. How do we contact you by phone?
