@ItsGav86 Remember that Smarty won’t have their own network; there are only 4 carriers. Smarty uses Three’s network underneath, so check its coverage in areas you live and go. You might also lose some features compared with Three. (eg, Plusnet Mobile uses EE & lacks its WiFi Calling)

@MoneySavingExp Couldn't have been easier. Rang BT, answered all the questions, passed eligibility. The speeds will be slightly higher than those I was getting with Plusnet on faster fibre. You DO NOT get lower speeds or poorer service on the Essential plan. £15pm for 38mb or £20pm for 68-72mb.

Hi @Plusnet, unhappy new customer here. Took the day off work yesterday to await broadband install and @OpenreachHelp weren’t able to complete the job, old broadband now disconnected and no contact from Open Reach to say when they’ll complete. Not happy.

@MartinSLewis Just moved to full fibre staying with plusnet and ditched the landline. Ported our home number to a voip service. So kept our home number. Cost was £28.99 now £26.99 + £1.50 voip same cost 2x speed.
