Smarty uses Three’s network underneath, so check its coverage in areas you live and go. You might also lose some features compared with Three. (eg, Plusnet Mobile uses EE & lacks its WiFi Calling)

Brad Carter 🇬🇧 (@BC__RWB) reported@skalovingeek @Plusnet Normally you still have a manual control box connected to the boiler which can be used in the event of the wireless / or wireless thermostat not working. The hive wireless thermostat talks to the control box connected to the boiler. So the box can be used on its own.
