@BBCBenThompson actually spoke with @Plusnet yesterday as I was out of contact paying over the odds asked if I could have the "new customer" deal was basically told no even though I have been a customer for many years. So I've cancelled for a cheaper deal. #nodiscountforloyalty

The thing i hated about the years i spent as a PlusNet customer was seeing all the adverts on TV all the time that went on and on about their “great service” and “award winning customer service”, from a company that provided some of the worst of either that I’ve ever experienced.

The good thing about today's 7-hour-and-counting @SkyHelpTeam outage is that it's the final nail in a wearying road, giving me the push to swap contract to @Plusnet, who appear to be offering better speeds at almost half the price...

Got so angry with @Plusnet's misogynist and xeno-rascist customer care lot, that I thought I calm myself with some @FeverTreeMixers soda. Sadly, they didn't have the one I wanted and I tried a different one.And of course I don't like it. 😣 This day can only get better.

@shakytripod Hi there, I'm really sorry about the signal issues and the poor customer service you've had. Please send us a DM with your mobile number and I'll make sure we get that put right for you. - Adam - Plusnet Sheffield

@ComplainingCow Trouble is, there's very little manoeuvre for them now. We were with Plusnet for 8 years, Always able to wangle a decent deal at negotiation time, then one year they wouldn't budge, so we had to walk. I'm looking forward to "Home 5G" rolling out as that'll be real competition.

@Plusnet Used the online chat service and bot 'Joe' answers. Joe admits defeat and asks me to ring. So I do - and you're closed. Arghh! My q relates to opting out of inc calls. When I do this, my new contract reverts to an expensive out-of-contract price for my b'band. Why?

@Plusnet Too late. I'm leaving for a supplier that supports wi-fi calling, since I doubt I'll ever persuade you that my signal is rubbish. And it wasn't broadband -- it was mobile! I wouldn't say 'signal' for broadband.

@Plusnet Cambridgeheath4. This needs to be sorted as you are not providing the service, which is a breach of contract. @Ofcom @BBCWatchdog
