  • GoonerKal Kal (@GoonerKal) reported from Ashley Cross, England

@Plusnet thought my connectivity issues the past weekend were on my end but I’m seeing that many customers are having issues with intermittent drop outs. This evening has been frustrating. Already previously logged under Q number 232950185.

  • adechapmanlaw Adrian Chapmanlaw (@adechapmanlaw) reported from Bournemouth, England

Woop woop lunch time tomorrow all being well. Should have full fibre broadband courtesy of @CityFibre and @juicebroadband A bit nervous, plusnet FTTC has been incredibly reliable and "fast enough" more is better right? 200Mb up AND down for £10 a month less is hard to ignore!

  • GoonerKal Kal (@GoonerKal) reported from Poole, England

@1burnm I think this is endemic within the service sector not isolated to BG. The last 10 days of mine have been taken up on phone calls and emails with Plusnet, Sky, ADT on several occasions with the promise of a call/email back. It’s absolutely rife. I hope BG come through for you.

  • kittyhunt Amy (@kittyhunt) reported from Poole, England

@plusnethelp 4 conversations over plusnet online chat with poor service and 5-15 minute pauses between each contact during a chat and 4 days with no decent internet... Very disappointed with @plusnethelp Will definitely be looking to change suppliers when the contract is up..

  • Olijlloyd Oliver Lloyd (@Olijlloyd) reported

Hi @Plusnet . My internet is down at m16 8FB - but i can't see anything online about a downage. I've done the usual steps, resetting router, powering off, etc etc - but still orange-lights on the router. Is there anything at your side showing any issues?

  • erinsteph_x 😾😾😾😾 (@erinsteph_x) reported

My stupidity + kinda poor wording by @Plusnet near caused a heart attack, email about a small price increase didn’t say “monthly price will increase by £1.15”, it said “price will increase by £1.15 a month”, and i briefly took that as every month being £1.15 more than the last 🙃

  • StuTheChef_ Stu🟥⬜⬛ (@StuTheChef_) reported

@Plusnet hi, you upgraded my data recently and I've had limited coverage since. I'm a new customer and this is the second issue in two months,

  • pipmadeley Pip (@pipmadeley) reported

@David__Brunt @Plusnet Have got a smart meter but it was installed well over a year before this particular problem started. I can see it might interfere with WiFi but not sure how it would cause the DSL signal to repeatedly drop.

  • pipmadeley Pip (@pipmadeley) reported

@Plusnet Hi Mark, I appreciate the reply but I've already got an open support ticket on your system awaiting an advisor to respond so would rather not complicate matters. They have all the details/event log info. Pip - In Manchester

  • waspboro1 WaspBoro1 (@waspboro1) reported

@pipmadeley @Plusnet @WeAreOpenreach I dumped the plusnet router after I had similar problems. Its cheap junk. Spent £90 on a tp link router from Amazon. 5 min set up. No problems since. Not a single drop out and it's faster.

  • pipmadeley Pip (@pipmadeley) reported

@Daemar1 @Plusnet Have switched channels many times, never made a difference. Plus there's nothing actively connected at that time of night.

  • pipmadeley Pip (@pipmadeley) reported

@TomABacon @Plusnet Funnily enough that was one of the first things I read when Googling the problem, but we don't have Sky and the Humax (freeview) STB isn't connected to the Internet.

  • SimonJGarner Simon Garner Photography (@SimonJGarner) reported

@pipmadeley @Plusnet @WeAreOpenreach I was wondering if it was a problem at the exchange, though if your phone still works I doubt it would be (forgot about trying that)

  • SeanHadland Sean Hadland (@SeanHadland) reported

@Plusnet None what so ever - Some feedback for you - do what you always do and you will get what you always get, never underestimate or belittle a customer with jargon - poor tactics, us customers have legs and can move companies - loyalty and retention is the key 🔑
