@1burnm I think this is endemic within the service sector not isolated to BG. The last 10 days of mine have been taken up on phone calls and emails with Plusnet, Sky, ADT on several occasions with the promise of a call/email back. It’s absolutely rife. I hope BG come through for you.

  • TimMarcus76 Tim Marcus (@TimMarcus76) reported from Swanage, England

@Plusnet no internet since 1am! What’s going on? Down detector reports multiple issues…

  • kittyhunt Amy (@kittyhunt) reported from Poole, England

@plusnethelp 4 conversations over plusnet online chat with poor service and 5-15 minute pauses between each contact during a chat and 4 days with no decent internet... Very disappointed with @plusnethelp Will definitely be looking to change suppliers when the contract is up..

  • adechapmanlaw Adrian Chapmanlaw (@adechapmanlaw) reported from Bournemouth, England

Woop woop lunch time tomorrow all being well. Should have full fibre broadband courtesy of @CityFibre and @juicebroadband A bit nervous, plusnet FTTC has been incredibly reliable and "fast enough" more is better right? 200Mb up AND down for £10 a month less is hard to ignore!

  • Le_Painter Dudley Freshwater (@Le_Painter) reported from Christchurch, England

@plusnethelp Re: Question 207507773. Account:  Bdrenaline You asked for confirmation if this matter was now  closed.  NO YOU CANNOT CLOSE THE ISSUE. WE STILL HAVE A MASSIVE COMPLAINT WITH PLUSNET AND EXPECT CONSIDERABLE COMPENSATION FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. please contact Me!!!

Incidentally, whilst I was moaning my plusnet billing last night, I should give credit. Their customer service people are generally very helpful, understanding, and want to resolve problems when they crop up. Unlike some organisations I could name.

  • chauffeur20021 Chauffeur2002 (@chauffeur20021) reported

@Plusnet got me with your adverts and headline price of £29.99 a month, what you fail to point out, although its in the fine print, is your call charges, if you ring during the day they are exorbitant and you put your prices up 3.9% every June plus the CPI. Be aware people!!

  • ADMason Andy Mason (@ADMason) reported

@Plusnet Hi, any issues in BS30 area? Broadband’s gone down at least *four* times throughout today (and orange light on router). Normally very stable, but something isn’t right. Need any further info? Cheers, Andy.

  • SerenaChamings Serena (@SerenaChamings) reported

@Plusnet Plusnet this service is terrible! Been on the phone with you for over an hour in 2 days, to be told there's a fault on the phone line - which isn't my fault but there's the possibility I may be charged £65 for an engineer to come out anyway, in FIVE days! I'm WFH!

  • carbuff1975 Karl Wood (@carbuff1975) reported

@HubNutVids If your landline / broadband is with BT the likes of Plusnet / Sky / Talktalk are cheaper with mostly better service. Mobile wise, you can get an unlimited SIM only contract from 3 for approx £25 a month (unlimited data) and O2 150GB for a similar price.

So nobody been living in this flat since last year but apparently there was a cease order on my phone line switchover? What ********? I'm guessing someone in the plusnet team doesn't 100% know what they are talking about.

  • Asparak1066 Richard Ellis (@Asparak1066) reported

@purpleisiscat @Plusnet What's the point? They have no interest in providing the service we pay for.
