A few annoyances today, overcharged by a few pounds by Plusnet (a charge they said they'd apply in July) and the incompetent morons at Northern Powergrid sending me emails about the future of the network that they fail to maintain, not sure how the latter got my email address

@Plusnet why is @All4 suddenly geoblocked when connected to wi-fi? This is an issue for 2 TVs and 2 phones when connected to wi-fi. No issues when using data on the phones.

@SM_Underwood Hi, you just need to reset your router. Plusnet use dynamic IP addresses that change if the router is reset of power interrupted. Sometimes Plusnet gives one that's abroad for some stupid reason and Screwfix geoblocks non UK IPs Hope that makes sense. Reset your router 👍

  • RobL_L Rob (@RobL_L) reported

@AnnPawley @Screwfix It's Plusnet that's the problem. Turn off your router for an hour then turn back on so it gives you a new IP address. Plusnet has a habit of given foreign IPs which get geoblocked by screwfix's website. Mine just did the same when I switched power off. It's a pain.

  • MarkAWigmore Mark Wigmore (@MarkAWigmore) reported

@Plusnet I'm sitting waiting for an SMS from @sainsburys in order to log in to their website. There's a signal, just, but nothing is coming through. What am I supposed to do now?

  • Screwfix Screwfix (@Screwfix) reported

@JonBF23 @Plusnet Hi Jon, we are aware of the current website issues and apologise for the inconvenience. It seems to only be affecting those using certain broadband providers which is why we ask, we are in the process of liasing with Plusnet to resolve this. Many thanks - Belle

  • RobL_L Rob (@RobL_L) reported

@crevicekid @Screwfix @DavidWa28957772 Plusnet is the issue, turn off the power on your router for an hour then on to refresh your IP which is like Ireland which I think is geoblocked by Screwfix

@Plusnet hello as your ‘managers’ refuse to speak to their customers when they have a complaint, could you please provide me with the email of your MD/Chief Exec asap. Please don’t refer me to your customer support they can’t resolve my complaint. Thank you!

  • cleave_mark Mark Cleave (@cleave_mark) reported

@Plusnet where has 24hour support gone? I have a continuing problem with my service from you and I cannot get in touch.
