The problem is that the staff on the number given had no clue of the Customer Care or suspected fraud phone numbers. It's a staff training issue that needs addressing.

India Post (@IndiaPostOffice) reported@mehtabhuvnesh01 R/sir Booking counter at Tosham SO is operational till 1500 hours. As per report of SPM Tosham, no such instance regarding non booking of articles at 1400 hours occurred in tosham postoffice. In this regard, if complainant have some evidence in support of his/her allegation then please provide with complaint so that matter can be inquired accordingly.

However once someone knows that there is a problem then it makes hacking easier to cover - that's for certain. BUT the problems in Ayrshire certainly weren't to do with 'high-value, high footfall' There is of course the possibility that some people in Westminster wished to close Post offices completely - that's a conspiracy theory of course:-)

Anbu B (@Anbu_Batumalai) reported@PostOffice spoke to the CS agent, cancelled the insurance as i am selling my car. was informed it cost ยฃ36 to cancel. I should hv left the insurance live untill end of term which 9th May. I spent my time to call and incur ยฃ36 and your cover is only for 350 days instead of 365 days.

Unless you were asking for a tracked service (T24 or T48) you absolutely should have been able to use your stamps. I expect @PostOffice will be along in the morning to ask you for more info and what branch it was.
