Wish I’d just paid parking and gone to the central one 🙄🙄

The problem is that the staff on the number given had no clue of the Customer Care or suspected fraud phone numbers. It's a staff training issue that needs addressing.

As per report of SPM Tosham, no such instance regarding non booking of articles at 1400 hours occurred in tosham postoffice. Unless you were asking for a tracked service (T24 or T48) you absolutely should have been able to use your stamps. I expect @PostOffice will be along in the morning to ask you for more info and what branch it was.
