Adimaibole Waqainabete (@adimaibole) reported@lily_lna @PostOffice Was this Post Office in the Middle East? If so, I imagine there are dress codes expected in areas of public service.
-
Not Arguing 🐭 (@NotArguing9) reported@lily_lna @PostOffice I read this first as you being an employee. That would be a tad scandalous. As a customer? It's amazing. Not scandalous at all. And even if it were, not their concern.
-
Reel Buddy (@Daddyzoom) reported@lily_lna @PostOffice I read it as if you worked there then realised you were a customer. How strange those staff thought they can tell you what to wear. I can imagine who the staff are.
-
MoveForward2026 (@forward20282654) reported@lily_lna @twasthentisnow @PostOffice Why didn’t you make that clear on your OP. As a customer , the shop have no business telling you that you can’t wear that outfit. As an employee they may require you to dress in work attire . And it’s “backless”, not “blackless”.
-
Guy Gamble (@GuyGamble9) reported@DougWahl1 You can drop it off **** THE POSTOFFICE.
-
WrdnMs (@WrdnMs) reported@lily_lna @twasthentisnow @PostOffice I thought you were an employee and I was thinking no, that’s not appropriate for work. But as a customer? Wear whatever you ******* want and you look fantastic!
-
Gertrude Saunders 🇬🇧🏴🏴 (@lynch6511) reported@lily_lna @PostOffice As a customer, nothing wrong with it.
-
Charlotte Nevison (@CharlotteNevis3) reported@juliedoherty29 @PostOffice @lily_lna She was a customer.
-
GirlScout27 (@GirlScout27) reported@Irmenberga @lily_lna @PostOffice I've worked in pubs where we've refused service to men in shorts and no shirt. This is common practice and absolutely nothing to do with religion. I support the principle that business owners can refuse service, and they legally can.
