    🚨 UPDATE: Dishforth Post Office Services I've received an update from the @PostOffice confirming that progress is being made towards reopening Bedale Post Office, with plans for outreach/mobile services to resume alongside it. I know the closure has caused inconvenience for residents, and I have been pressing for a resolution. I'll share further updates as I receive them.

    @JamesMelville Totally agree. I tried to help a 93 lady. Bright and chatty not IT literate, couldn’t pay her TV licence at our local PostOffice so drove her to CoOp. Didn’t have a bar code do we gave up. She said “the world is against me now I am old” broke my heart @PatrickChristys

    @lily_lna @PostOffice I read it as you were an employee to which my first thought was yes inappropriate but after seeing your comment that you were a customer they IMO have no right to dictate what you or anyone else should wear when entering their store as a paying customer.

    @Irmenberga @lily_lna @PostOffice I've worked in pubs where we've refused service to men in shorts and no shirt. This is common practice and absolutely nothing to do with religion. I support the principle that business owners can refuse service, and they legally can.

    @lily_lna @PostOffice I get that some people fetishise backs. But they also fetishise toes. Should we say ‘don’t come in wearing flip flops.’ No, because that’s dumb. Just like this. This dress wasn’t inappropriate. Anyone thinking it is seriously needs to consider that they in fact are the problem.
