@PostOffice Cheltenham High Street (WHSmith) 20 mins to drop off pre-labelled tracked package so not even allowed to use the most complicated self-service machines in retail. But this is usual. The staff do their best but there are never enough counters open, and no queue management.

@PostOffice so my local post office wouldn’t take my parcel after I had queued up for ages due her taking an age on another customer as I had sealed it with staples as they may rip the postman’s skin. Are you actually kidding me? Fuming beyond belief.

@pjm1kbw @PostOffice Have you read the Private Eye investigations into this shameful episode. It was obvious from the outset that these poor people were innocent. There was just 39 today. Hundreds more are still affected, wrongly convicted.

The #PostOfficeScandal is indeed a pitiful tale, per #bbcpm, all the more so because this was done by a public service, therefore in a sense done on behalf of us all. It makes me very, very angry. The @PostOffice should be deeply ashamed.

@PostOfficeNews @PostOffice Chairman should go and look at current flagship cases. You should be ashamed as a Chairman and the CEO. Post Office management should be ashamed of their cover ups. Your legal teams should hang their heads in shame intimidating people who raise complaints. The Press are watching

@vincecable to say that the idea that the #postoffice issue was being caused by computer issues is relatively recent is nonsense. You are trying to evade responsibility for not having proper oversight of your own department.

@PostOfficeNews @PostOffice Guess what... An Asian man with 22 years PO was sacked for Gross Misconduct. His Customer services sent out modified and incomplete customer complaints. MAN UP and take responsibility. The press will cover this man's case. I hope he gets justice.

@guardian I'm so delighted for these #subpostmasters, it should never have come to this. They had been tarnished as criminals, stealing from the #PostOffice, accused of theft. All lies! The Post Office did the stealing, they stole their lives. Shame on them, they should pay reparations.

@terry_moran1 @PostOffice I've never understood this. It was so obviously wrong from the outset. Corporate mindset so often cannot accept it might be wrong.

@PostOffice Should hang your heads in shame!

@adhib @nickwallis Yes, people motivated to think the worst of those whose livelihoods they shaped. The @PostOffice was allowed to be a ‘prosecuting authority’ and if one considers its history and importance, going back to the Tudors, its militant and harsh treatment of people is not so surprising.
