@RogerPlater @PostOffice It's an ID verification check for my Uni course. Basically the website says you can get it done at any post office and I've been to a small one and a large one and no one can help.

@seanbhoy1984 @PostieMcPost @PostOffice Suggesting cash was frowned on or banned. Yes, i use my cards more, but will sometimes use cash, even in a PO. Try paying a cleaner, gardener or window cleaner with a card - especially in a rural area with no mobile signal

@ChrisNJWilliams @PostOffice Chris you are missing the point. Nobody is complaining the cash is disappearing and we have to use cards and bank transfers etc. I've not had cash in my hand for years but this is different. Just as they crack down on crypto BoE wants a programmable digital currency.

@sillyoldjen @T4Terry0609 @PostOffice Prices would remain the same, but if you pay with cash it gets rounded up or down to the nearest 5p … just like in the other countries that have removed their cent coins.
