Been an @Barclays customer for over 30 years. Love the online banking (they one of the first) and app, but the chat and video call functions are hopeless. Only want to open an account for my daughter, but too difficult. Going to @santanderuk now instead.

It’s my understand that you can be in possession of a Help to Buy ISA AND a LISA, but can only use the government bonus from just the 1 account. Is this still correct? Friend was told by a staff member at @santanderuk branch that this is wrong ?? @MartinSLewis

@santanderuk your customer service is abysmal. 3 days I’ve tried to get hold of you, by phone and through your online chat, and nothing!!! And it was you who sent me a letter saying could I get in touch with you!!!! Chance would be a fine thing. 0/10 poor.

@santanderuk clearly Santander like most other banks in the UK only want to exploit “customers” or rather a better phrase would be cash cows to pay for their poor service, the best description for theM is shoddy or useless

@santanderuk maybe your staff need a lesson in customer service. The staff member greeting in Chelmsford visibly looking disgusted by a homeless gentlemen trying to access his bank account is much more unpleasant than any man trying to live his life

God the amount of condescending talking down to we got at Santander bank Scarborough is bloody unacceptable, especially from someone who wasn't solving our issue. I expect more professional attitudes @santanderuk , this is not good enough.
