Dear @santanderuk, Closing at 12.30 on Friday is not customer service! Not opening until 10 am on Monday isn't enough. I was outside your door, just now, ready to pay a BIG bill. No, l don't bank online, l like to talk to people. But you don't want to chat! #notcustomerservice

@santanderuk The worst #bank in the UK. No branches open, so no, what you might call #customerservice. Left the thieving #Lloyds only to find different problems.

@santanderuk how dare you restrict what I spend my hard earned money on! It’s MY money, you are just a service and there’s plenty more out there. I’m leaving you. As for “protecting customers” that’s utter tosh, and you know it.

@santanderuk So I can spend all my wage on betting and porn but if I want to invest in the future of money technology (crypto) then you limit me? Shocking! Especially when you are a partner of #Ripple and will use #xrp in the future. Its like you don't want people making money. Awful.

@mdudas @santanderuk The problem is crypto is a massive massive fraud risk and source of losses / chargebacks Banks have no instrument other than blocking transactions to try to limit losses Until exchanges and banks can share data on bad actors Which @sardine is working on

@BTC_Archive @santanderuk excuse me... why are you telling people they can only spend X amount of their government issued fun coupons in a given time period? You know doing **** like this just further demonstrates why bitcoin and crypto is needed.

@santanderuk as a customer I am disgusted. Today I received an email saying how in conjunction with tje fca your going to protect me by limiting the amount I csn send to cryptocurrency exchanges. And restrict all payments to binance the worlds largest exchange

@mdudas @santanderuk UK banks tend to block and fraud check every large exchange transfer, nightmare, but why are they going to make it easy

@conraddit @santanderuk Santander once blocked my access to my own savings “to protect me from scams”, cut me off customer services the minute it turned 9pm mid-resolution, then blocked me again a few months later. Closed the account, no questions asked. Entered crypto, never looked back. That was 2018.
