HonestHornet (@hornet_honest) reported@santanderuk Thanks for the apologies, it would be better if management knew we were thinking of leaving because we won't wait 20 mins every time we need to speak to someone with a problem that can't be resolved with a pointless chat bot or automated system.

Sheila kirkby (@kirkbysheila28) reported@santanderuk @StumpyRabbitt @santanderuk why are you doing this to existing customer why not just to new customers? I hope it doesn’t happen to me I have been a customer of yours since you were abbey national 😳

Ash 1974🔴🏐 (@andy_horner) reported@santanderuk Well, after authorising an unsanctioned withdrawal, they now cant give me access to my mobile or online banking! Cowboy banking basically. Customer service or security cant do a thing either!!
-
Mattster (@MattsterT3) reported@santanderuk your phone queuing system is customer-hostile. Telling a caller that the queue is “More than 5 mins” when in fact it’s >45mins isn’t very helpful. Making customers wait 45mins and then simply dropping their call? Hostile. * repeatably - yes I checked!
-
Ash 1974🔴🏐 (@andy_horner) reported@santanderuk Not really any help and 5 days was mentioned which is a joke as its not 1950 is it?

William Poel (@wpoel) reported@claudelittner @santanderuk @cahoot Claude: I just got told in an email from Cahoot "Important Information - 25/05/2026 Dear MR ......... You may need to take action Please log on to your Online Banking as soon as possible. You have an important new document to read....." I haven't had contact with Cahoot for ~20 years and the task of exhuming old contact info (or anything else) is going to be vast. And if I do, 99% it will be spam or an offer to sell me something - not news of an error in my favour for £50k. Banks sending out these types of messages create a lot of hassle - and there needs to be a way of getting a fast track summary to determine if it is worth the effort.

Joe (@JoeRobb) reported@santanderuk @santanderukhelp Just tried ringing your helpline because my account has been hacked and they weren’t any help. Can you help sort this out?
-
Oasis (@Oasisrvti) reported@santanderuk customer comes first so it’s always right not at this company. They’ll just take your money and block your bank and do nothing about it for a week so if you’re thinking about opening the account for convenience, please don’t because all it’s gonna do is cause agro

Damien McCrystal (@DamienMcCrystal) reported@santanderuk An unmoving queue at 3.15pm. No indication of service available. If you can’t serve after a certain time, make it clear, put up a sign. Deal with customers clearly and efficiently instead of wasting their time. Don’t treat people like **** because they’re poor and inarticulate.

Sarah Louise Macrae (@goode86) reported@santanderuk I will hopefully not be going back for a long time - reason why bank stores are on the decline when you don’t receive any customer service in store people won’t use them
