My online access is blocked and I have been waiting for 30 minutes for the security department to answer the phone. In that time I could have already gone to the ATM to withdraw all my cash. Is that what you want to achieve? @santanderuk

Dear @santanderuk thank you for your great service. I was on the phone for 16 minutes when one of you picked up the call inspite being so busy. Then the guy told me hold the line for a brief moment. The moment never came. After 10 minutes you just disconnected the call.

@santanderukhelp @santanderuk Doesn't help if you want a children's account which can't be applied for online! Managed to do it far more easy with other banks. And really 11 months! Your response indicates that this isn't important to the bank.

It's when things go wrong that you really find how a bank deals with individuals. Been with @santanderuk for a long time but over the last few days their customer services + complaints handling has been poor. Everyone makes mistakes, but the way they've responded is inexplicable.

While I'm on a first world problems rant: @santanderuk , if you're going to close so many branches and ATMs, especially in London, then could you please catch up with the rest of UK banks & start supporting cheque deposits via your mobile app? Going to close my account.
