  @santanderuk trying to help my FIL set up online banking has been the worst experience. Hours and hours of phone calls, letters that don't arrive, blocking banking as soon as it has been set up. Voice ID when he has had throat cancer. An hour wait on each call. It's awful.

  @santanderuk This continued for a further 24 hrs with over 35 new accts being opened. I, therefore, had to call to explain the situation. The call handler was helpful and said he would close the new accts but I was staggered that as a customer facing employee he was not aware of the situation

  @chaosprimeZ @santanderuk I can imagine! Their customer service for me was non existant. On the other hand, although I havent suffered fraud since, Nationwides branch staff have virtually fell over themselves to help with other queries.
